moving right along. Will probably post on odd number days until we get out pages up and running for the month.

This time Gwen learns of some fame.

But here's the thing, if you were in this comic, would you even know to buy her book given how the magic is altering reality AND minds? What would make you still want to buy the book, not knowing (and through her own fault by not clarifying that it is her book) it is her book and not just some random dude's? In this reality, so far she's famous because she's a sexy Instagram cosplayer. You'd know her for that and probably would go to said booth to see her for that reason, not to buy some random graphic novel from someone who isn't famous.

Aw. I feel so bad for Ken/Gwen. Sure, she's got some fame, but it's not for her book. Nobody seems interested in her book. They seem to just want sexy cosplay pictures of her. Makes me wish I was there, so I could buy her book. Even ask her to sign it too.

At this point it's a sign that the spell is doing alot more than changing her. It's expanding out more and more. Hasn't seemed to effect her mind too much yet.

I'm just going to look coy and say, "I'll never tell"

Roseleaf

I'm notoriously casual in my language. Leaving out "I" is probably one of the most common things I do only to add it back in later. Thanks for the feedback.

What I'm wondering about is Gwen's fans. Were they regular goers to ComicCon or has the spell just pulled them out of nowhere? Will Gwen suddenly have 'knowledge' of what they are talking about or does she just stumble through this as she has so far?

Lisa Thomas

"The book I'm promoting" may come back to bite her. She didn't say 'my book', she said 'the book', which loses her sense of ownership over it and pushes her farther away from being an artist and the last connection to the previous reality. How long until someone else called 'Ken North' shows up or the booth and book change to be someone and something else entirely?

Mr. Domino

I suppose people do naturally leave out unnecessary words when speaking casually, though I'd have gone with "Fans? You came to see me?" "Since you are fans, do you wanna buy a copy of the book I'm promoting?" "Actually, I was more interested in getting a print." and "Do you have prints of you in cosplay?" Maybe the next printing of the book will have a cosplay cover, suitable for signing at such events...
