i’m a little excited…
Added 2022-04-26 18:04:10 +0000 UTC—to write the side ship spinoffs for DMF! I’m choosing between namkook and vhope for this coming May at the moment.
If I may, please indulge my little ramble about these two side ships’ dynamics and why I think they work.
✨ DMF namkook;
- namjoon is smart and empathetic and gets a little too caught up in his head often, and that’s why he admires jungkook whose ‘silly’ actions ground him.
- jungkook really, really admires namjoon. he has his fears and insecurities but he’s just such an all-round pure and optimistic guy so he just does his best instead of get trapped in his worries. he has a zest for ~living life to the fullest~ and has a tendency to put into action a lot of the imaginary scenarios in namjoon’s head.
Namkook works because they pull each other up, I think. Together they really balance each other out. ✌🏻🕊
✨ DMF vhope;
ahhh… a wild card. I never intended to include them as a ship, btw! The story kinda just… took a life of its own.
- I won’t say much about them yet. Taehyung is genuinely crushing on Hobi, but Hobi is a little doubtful because he can’t sense if Taehyung just ‘admires’ him or seriously views him romantically. That’s why Hobi doesn’t know how to ‘react’ to Taehyung’s moves most of the time, lmao.
- the thing is, they’re both extroverts in different ways. Hoseok isn’t too sure how he ‘fits’ into Taehyung’s socially active lifestyle. He worries way more than Taehyung, imo. But he doesn’t like to show it.
Ahhh I could talk about them all day. Anyway, is there a ship you’re more curious to read about at the moment? 🫣
