You've no doubt heard of the practice of "circuit bending" in which one deliberately causes a device to malfunction in order to hear the weird sounds that come out. Extra switches and knobs can be installed to control the malfunctioning. The Texas Instruments Speak 'n Spell is the holy grail of circuit benders; they've become expensive and impossible to find. I've got an old Coleco Talking Teacher bent by somebody on Ebay. I'll record its jabberings onto a cassette and then twirl that tape in the next video.

hmm... interesting, sounds part way between tape scratching and vinyl scratching. The voice and sounds are definitively more on the range of the tape, buut the actual scratching sounds like vinyl. 🤔 Overall? Very, very interesting ❤️
