Mid Feb Devlog

Hi theres!

These past weeks I recoded the ground part of freeroam code of this update 'cause its really complex, and was not doing the job, but now looks like running much better so I can just focus on scenes and the emergent writing.

I also coded a (toggeable) automatic system that shows when the game is checking Stats, Paths, and People's Path (in a cool and non invasive way) so the player can know if he may be missing something somewhere.

"I fixed" the saves not allowing to get custom names. Which of course means that I updated the third party engine. I hope (again) this will be the last time. We will see in the beta how much stuff I have to fix again, but for now only the scenes are left to code.

I'm (trying) to finish coding a scene a day. There is around 15 finished so means I have around 15-20 more before finishing. At least they're the most interesting, tastier ones.

In other news:

I have deactivated for an indefinite amount of time Count and Duke Tiers. The current Count commission I have will be the last I'll do at least until Steam Release. After that, I'll see.

Explanation: I really want to push the main story onwards and updates like this one (0.25) that is mostly a very big commision, is just not exciting to code right now, nor was it back in Nov.

While the content is good, I'm just not feeling it and just makes me work less hours daily. I'm eager to get back to the "real content".

While other times I was very happy working in comissions, life got much more complicated and I really need to use the time I have available for BFL in making the game pogress forward, not progress sideways.

Anyway, Most of planned chapter 1&2 side-content is done so, I guess theres is enough meat to go around.

Let's keep the chopping!

Good to hear from you, looking forward to the release even if it is sideways :) But there is good reasoning behind putting the story forward (again). Absolutely hear you on that front and with full support. Thumbs up!
