Our Super Special Project Unveiled!

Some of you may have already picked up that, later in the 2nd build, there will be a fight scene. Fight scenes by themselves are nothing new in FVNs: you can find them in Adastra, Repeat, Sileo, and so many more...

But I've always felt like those fight scenes were a little too barebones. Like the action was always missing something. It felt like hearing someone talk about The Matrix, instead of watching the movie myself: sometimes, a scene has to be seen for it to matter. As such, I decided to introduce a new idea into the mix, and combine two of my greatest passions together to create something truly spectacular!

If you still didn't catch on, here's our answer to this conundrum: the entire fight scene will be illustrated as if it were a webcomic, with unique panels showcasing the action one step at a time and speech bubbles to portray the dialogue instead of the clunky Renpy textbox! Action scenes will never be the same from now on, and they'll only get better from here!

It is our most ambitious project so far, and our most beautiful to look at to boot. We truly believe this is the next big step for FVNs, and we're proud to unveil some parts of it here before you. Clearly this isn't the full storyboard, but rest assured: you'll see the full thing very soon, in the Patreon build! And trust me: it looks even cooler in Renpy than it does here! >=3
