Added 2024-08-15 16:21:38 +0000 UTCSo... Apparently Patreon must switch to Apple's in-app purchase system for all iOS transactions or risk removal from the App Store. This, of course, means Apple will claim a 30% of the pie for themselves. Honestly, at this point I would've just removed myself from the App, but I don't make the calls.
This affects only new subscriptions and only those made through the App, but those affected will see a price increase on everything to cover for our new overlord taxes.
As if Mastercard's gratuitous tax on NSFW wasn't enough bullshit.
