November Vote Results and Final WIPs

The Grimdark poll results are in! So this month on the Imperial side, the Warhound Titan stomps all the competition to dust and is the fan favorite by a mile. Logan Grimnar also comes with respectable second and since it's the season, I'll include him in next month's lineup. Wow, two characters with canine motif winning the poll, don't think I've seen that happen. 😄

On the Xenos side, the C'tan Void Dragon is the clear favorite. I guess everyone was as confused as I was when the official version came out. Didn't think the Necron had a Daft Punk avatar for one their most powerful units. 😅 So yes, I'll be doing a Dragon version of the Void Dragon. It's in the name.

So taking all the results into account as well as the queued items, I think I'll finally try doing Argel Tal next month to round out the set. I've delayed him and the Gal Vorbak for far too long, mostly because I couldn't really think of a way to do them well. But I've got some ideas now so I'll try and see if they work next month.

I'm also going to break tradition a little and let the Grimdark fans know I'll be making Ibram Gaunt for the next month's bonus 1 year+ reward. I've put him and the gang in every poll and am always surprised that they don't rise to the top. The Gaunt's Ghosts series is the one of the longest and prestigious BL has and does a great job fleshing out the inner workings of the Imperial Guard. Gaunt's Ghosts has interesting characters with day to day struggles and interpersonal conflicts, all the good stuff you'd expect in an Imperial Guard regiment. So it's high time the First and Only start getting some recognition for that.

And finally this month's bonus item will be Leto II's throne room.

I looked into this a bit but it appears there's no official or real description about the throne room except that it's vast (the entrance doors themselves were said to be over 80 meters tall). But for such an important character in the Dune universe, I thought it would be cool to make the primary seat of power for the character that ruled for millennia.

Supplicants, petitioners and advisors to the court are included so you can make a diorama of the God Emperor of Dune holding court. Neat!

I did cut up the Manta to be huge (it's supposed to be 630mm long on tabletop based on what I've read) but I'll probably cut it up even more the smaller printers. I'll have to keep working at it but an initial version will be included. But I did create a bunch of different drone variations on the side.

Figured it would be a nice feature to go with the Manta. Yeah, I know I keep saying I don't like the T'au but I like to give fans nice things. 😄

Oh and there was a community member request for me to make Nemesis Prime, which is basically just Optimus Prime but with Decepticon symbols. That version will be included in the release as well.

So that's another Sci Fi month in the bag! I'll list everything to be released in the monthly public post but basically it's everything posted as WIP this month. As usual, I will not be posting Space King content publicly but if community members know any fans that want this month's new content please let them know. Thanks!
