Halloween Drabble - Cut Me Some Slack!

Ah, my favorite holiday. The time of year where everything is all dress up and spooky stuff and pretty fall colors. Honestly, who doesn't love Halloween? So, in honor of my favorite holiday I have another fun romp with Emily and Rebecca, exclusively for all of you lovely Patrons.

There are some other things to discuss though, like always. I've got some important changes that I'm about to make to Patreon, such as adjusting my tiers and the benefits included, along with sticking to a posting schedule so you can get the content you rightfully deserve. Honestly, all of this has been a crazy mess full of trial and error and despite the hang ups I've had from life, it's something I've wanted to get in order for some time and that time is now!

Which, by the way, a big thank you to the people that have stuck with me loyally since the beginning with unwavering support. You're the people that truly inspire me to keep going at this crazy writing thing, so thank you from the bottom of my heart. I promise we can only go up from here.

Speaking of going up, like I mentioned before I'll have a weekly posting schedule from here on out so all of my little ducklings stay right where they belong. It's my goal to put out two new chapters a month, not necessarily of the same story, every other week. In between I'll also release extra content for the higher tiers and scraps - little scenes with some of your favorite characters - for the general public to read.

Why am I telling you all of this instead of just doing it you ask? Well, I want you guys to be excited for my work again. Let's be honest, things have gotten awfully stagnant. Also, it keeps me accountable and focused, and when that's happening everyone benefits. So, here's hoping that this is the start of a great new change!

Thank you for this. I love hearing this kind of stuff. Believe it or not most of the time I write it's just like, well... hope this makes sense. It's a big boost to know that what I was feeling or trying to express came across well. Seriously, thanks so much.

I caught a nasty bug which has worn me out, been trying to sleep it off and this morning started feeling a little better so I decided to read something that always makes me feel good inside, my choice was to reread enemies again. I’ve read all your stories (multiple times), but this time something really struck me, I found my favorite scene of all your stories. Just a couple paragraphs. It takes place right after Becca leaves Emmi’s with the picture Emmi drew. Becca arrives home and begins to admiring the picture, running her fingers across the paper and then she notices Emmi in the background. For me the way you wrote this scene was simply beautiful. Your description and detail brought me right there with Becca and I could feel her emotions as she realized how much Emmi loved her and when she hugged the sketch to her chest. You’ve so many great stories with lots of emotion, turmoil and love, but this is the one I’ll remember most. Sorry for the long post, just wanted to let you know.

Emily and Rebecca are my favorite of all your characters. Thank you for this newest story featuring them.

I’m so happy you brought Emmy and Becca back on Halloween. Really enjoyed it, perfect for tonight. Just like the ending though, you don’t have to wait until next Halloween to have more stories about these two. Also happy about getting to read more of your stories. You’re leaving me hanging with Focus.

Well, Rome wasn't built in a day, and failing to plan means you plan to fail, so if you have to wait a bit longer to release and update stories, then I'm fine with that; I'd rather you take your time and iron all the kinks out, than to rush out something riddled with typos and errors anyway. Nothing wrong with building a little bit of anticipation in my opinion.
