Blitz - Chapter Three
Added 2019-01-18 11:03:45 +0000 UTCThis. Fucking. Chapter.
It's been a damn project over this last week getting this thing ready to post today -- edits and re-edits and plenty of arguments with my editor -- but I'm pretty damn happy with the final project that I have for y'all.
I'll be honest, I initially had more that I wanted to say beyond this but really, you should just read. It's one of those chapters where a flowery intro would only spoil the impact.

It is real and that's why I can't put it down either. I struggled for awhile about commiting to this work because I do have so many other projects going on but, damn, Trent has got a story to tell and I'm just happy that people wanna hear him tell it. Which is good for me cause he's the one character that won't shut the fuck up right now haha

2019-01-21 17:57:59 +0000 UTCThis is one series I now crave, which is surprising as hell for me. The more I read, the more I watch Trent wallow, the more I see myself 7 years ago. My disdain was more inward but the anger? Oh yea, I was right there with Trent. So yea, as much as I wanna know what happens in the skater story, I crave this more because it's So. Damn. Real. It's gotten to the point I check even though I've not received a notification. LOL. You got me hooked Kenna.

2019-01-19 21:04:59 +0000 UTCGod what a doozy of a chapter. You've really done a great job of showing us how Trent lives his life and the relationship he has with the people around him. Hes so...relatable, in the worst of ways lol. But like thats a big part of why I love the guy. Hes a fuck up and kind of a prick, no one is contesting that. But hes also a person and just as much as your other kids he also deserves happiness. I love that you took someone, a minor character that most authors wouldnt spare a second thought after they've served their purpose, and you explored who he is. Youve really taken your time with Trent and I can tell your taking your time with his story too. I cant wait for the next chapter and thank you so much for kicking ass on here!

2019-01-19 19:46:33 +0000 UTCWhile there is a LOT of truth going on here, I think that sometimes people forget that narrators tell what they see and feel - especially from first person POV - and not always what's true. Also, this is really the tip of the icenerg people. This is a long story. There's gonna be a lot of winding paths and honestly this is what I've been wanting to do for a long time. Something that felt as real as the life I've lived and then some. So, I guess thank you. Because yeah, this fucker is miserable but also cut him some slack, he's stronger than that. We just gotta wait for him to find it.

2019-01-19 13:38:51 +0000 UTCI'm surprised Trent hasn't killed himself at this point; having to deal with an ex who sees nothing good in him, attempting to interact with a daughter who doesn't even know he exists half of the time, trying to resist the urge to kill Becca, feeling inferior to his older sister, and "whatever" is going on with his issues with Brad (use your imagination). Honestly, I'd just quit beating the dead horse and sever all ties with all of them, as he's not long for this world if he keeps this up; if he doesn't die from the multiple packs of smokes a day, the drinking, then he's definitely going to kill himself from a car crash seeing as he drives while in a fit of rage. I figured he was trying to keep up a facade based on how he acted in Sweet Tooth; he's in good shape, has a good-paying job, can buy anything he wants, could get with any girl without putting in much effort, and yet he's still miserable; whoever said money can by happiness needs to look up Trent, cause it's having the exact opposite effect.
