Back from my Canadian Vacation!

Firstly, hope everyone (who wanted one) received their Christmas cards and care packages! I was very happy to get those out before I left and I certainly hope nothing got last in the mail D: Anyone $15+, who sent me their t-shirt size, should have received something. For everyone else in those two tiers, that has not yet, send me your t-shirt size! (Though you'll receive items regardless of course).

The weather in Canada was perfect. Enough snow to sled in but warming up enough on the weekend to go out and really enjoy everything winter in Alberta has to provide. We stayed in and played games, went outside sledding, rang in the new year with music & fireworks outside city hall, and even went on a hay ride through the woods.

I know my daughter is still a bit young to form life-long memories, but I hope she enjoyed the experiences anyways :3

So, in less than a week, I leave for Further Confusion. And I have this huge daunting metal list of things in front of me that I need to have complete (today one of my tasks is to turn it into a physical list with a step-by-step plan). From building projects, to people to contact, things to pick up, and legalities to sort away and even the fact that I need to go out and get a haircut so I can look professional presenting myself at FC lol.

We did take a really wonderful winter photoshoot (the photo above being one as well as an accurate example of how I feel after getting back home) that I'm really excited about sharing here.

I also plan to share some of my 'FC prep' here (sneak a peek at my boxes of tails or my table display) and I also plan to share some of my FC experience here. Not the boring bits, but if anything really amazing, fun, or photogenic happens ;P
