2020 & into 2021

Well, it has been quite a year! Until I created this map layout, I had not realised how many maps I have created this year (and there are a few more as well that I can't show off yet).

You guys have inspired me into all sorts of experiments & it has been an amazing journey.... One I am looking forward to continuing.

I am going to spend the next few days catching up on back-ups, sorting out my filing system before it gets too out of hand and thinking about next steps. Most of this year I have been lucky enough to have house-sits and a friend's granny-flat to stay in, which makes it easier to spend time on maps... the next few months, from the middle of January I will be mostly on the road in my little van again, which may make it a bit more difficult to keep up a high/regular-ish output (as evidenced by this month's chaos). We shall see... & take it week by week, month by month.....

For January, the plan is the next Tower of Bedlam set (Royal Bedroom theme to match the Throne Room won the last poll), the theme set of 8 Wayside Shrines and another regular larger battlemap. I also want to experiment with some new software, which may or may not have a good result and could cause all sorts of chaos...!

Going forward I want to continue the Tower of Bedlam for a while yet - there are plenty of ideas to create assets for still - as well as the monthly themed set of about 8 mini-maps. What the 'regular' maps will be though, I do not know...

Whatever 2021 will bring, I am sure it will be another adventure... Thankyou all for joining me on the adventure, especially those of you who hang out on Discord and dream up wild stories to go with my maps - to which warp those maps into something else.

I hope that my maps have inspired you to create all sorts of interesting adventures, plots and interesting mishaps for your players and I hope that they will continue to do so.
