TFS features quite a few different Fernweh mommas π² who have groups of supporters among readers of the series.
I'm sure 'Mother of the Year' is a title many of you feel Mrs. Dorran deserves hands down. You'll be meeting Mrs. Corvin in Book Two and having quite a few scenes/choices with her, including variable statuses, where you'll be learning about J's past and their family dynamics. Ms. Verner is polarizing, but she's complex with you having my word we'll get into whyβ¦

I was particularly thinking about you during this birthday memory because of what you shared about January! π Your remark about Jam being glad to have R back in her life, especially this tradition, softened (tenderized) me before your remark about that story went for the jugular.... Ah. πͺ R's birthday memory options (but even generally speaking some of the things you'll learn about them across the series) helps to show the /absence/ that they and the MC went through. Still, their reunion and developing relationship is so meaningful. I have full confidence that Jam's going to unlock a future conditional kiss. Feel like RV's Mom may fit better, although both are lovely. Her result is more bittersweet though and the pic I used for it. π No one: ... Absolutely No One: ... Me: *picks an artful fire image for the tragic and loving description.* This is perfect. (It is! But it's very close to my heart while nesting in links between the past and present. There will be more characters, including a familiar face or two that you might not expect. The MC in this one is different with their knowledge base of Fernweh's lore/past, which produces interesting conflicts/betrayals/bonds. I can say that Marjorie is also in it alongside the TFS grandmother, so HMMM.) Egging versus being run through with a trident? π€ Honestly, the eggs would have more of an intimidation factor, while I'd say the trident is a more metal way to go. Yet another joins our noble cause. π± (Oof, I agree. They're so pricey.)

2025-05-12 12:55:46 +0000 UTCR birthday call, R birthday call, R birthday call at an hour that borders on uncivil π€£ It means so much to me. (and to January - always hearing R's voice first thing on her birthday!!! she's glad to have that back in her life π₯Ί (do you know this bloodletting even more horrendous, jam is not going to forget π)) Interestingly, I remember getting Mrs. Dorran on the mom quiz last year but today I got RV's mom??? Hmmm, okay π§ (I know the prequel is way off, but thinking about seeing young Lois, Rosie, Victor and mom and interacting makes me so excited. who else will we see? ππ) I'm bring a dozen eggs to the revolt. these things are expensive, okay? π₯π₯π₯π₯π₯π₯π₯π₯π₯π₯π₯π₯
