The courses do require a basic understanding of programming/Unreal Blueprints.
Do not just dive straight into the Patreon courses, you will be too inexperienced if you are not already bringing in existing knowledge.
Please take the free courses on my YouTube regardless if they are outdated or not.
Equally, take some beginner UE5 gamedev courses, anything with 5-Stars, just get used to the engine.
Please try to search solutions for bugs or issues by yourself, this is part of the learning process and something even the experienced have to continue to do.
If you have any issues, use the comments under the post, most beginner issues are common ones others will know.
In Unreal Blueprints, you are “building tools that makes an artwork“ instead of ”using tools to make an artwork“. If you’re coming from Houdini or Blender Geometry Nodes, you should understand this concept.
Learn the jargons of programming, as I refer to them in the traditional (OOP) way.
Get used to being frustrated, things not working, if you’ve been coding for a while you know.
Learning Unreal is not a sprint, it’s a marathon. I know you may be eager to create sick interactive works, but that eagerness will only make you burnt out.
