This movie is just amazing because Akeelah was a beacon of hope for her neighborhood by doing the bee. What was great too was that there was no villain in the movie, even though Dylan was seen as uptight and serious, he never tried to antagonize or cheat Akeelah and respected her enough to lose fairly than to win falsely in the final round. Again well worth the wait and I appreciate your honest reactions.
