I am so glad you reacted to this movie! Fun fact: the demon noises were recordings of babies crying in reverse and I believe slowed down. I watched this movie as a kid and was terrified by those things. This movie is a cultural moment and you will see the pottery sensual scene & Oda Mae’s “you in danger girl” referenced in a lot of media.
Also, I believe the ending where Molly could see him was first and foremost just plot armor so she could see Sam one more time and say goodbye, but one explanation could be it was maybe a gift from the angels that took him beyond *shrug*

It's wonderful to see you enjoy this movie as much as you did.
I don't think it's possible to understate just HOW MUCH of a hit this movie was at the time it came out.
And yes, Patrick Swayze was a phenomenal actor who really should have been in many more things that would have shown off his dramatic chops. Unfortunately, he died of cancer way too soon 😟

This movie is a treasure
Patrick actually refused to do this movie without Whoopie Goldberg
He said, "If she's not in it, I'm not in it" basically
The romance is beyond touching
These two (Sam and molly) had only each other and loved each other dearly only to be taken apart by death, but he choses to stay behind to protect her and to discover the truth about his death.
And as it turns out from Carl,
people are not what they seem.
Whoopie brought are serious amount of comedy to her character, because she is naturally funny
(BTW please upload a reaction to "Sister Act" Fantastic movie)
