To have a comparison, this is kinda the scary movie version of scream. Your suppose to find things similar to original but it’s meant to be funny and lighthearted. Neither of these was meant to be serious takes on show storylines. I didn’t mind that Greg/marsha storyline cause I thought it was funny a what if they weren’t related. In real life the actors for Greg and the mom carol dated during the original show behind scenes. And actors for Cindy and Bobby revealed they use to secretly kiss on set, like hiding in the doghouse. Also not sure if you got the gilligans island references. The guy who was to buy horse in Hawaii was a cast member of that show, and the characters made reference to the famous theme song lyrics. And at end, the lady genie, was the actress from I dream of genie tv show. Shows during the time Brady bunch aired on tv
