in episode 9, the flashbacks aren't there to show how eleanor was terrible to everyone, but to show how much she pushed everyone away and avoided being in any sort of team and how sad that is when you really think about it. all her whole life she had no love or support and she's never been apart of a group she's close with. all her life, not having anyone by her side is the only way she knew, so she convinced herself that it was a good thing. and then we see the eleanor in the afterlife, finally belonging in a team and having people by her side, chidi even says "just because we have a new guest in the house doesn't mean i'm not still gonna be there for you, we're a team." and eleanor smiles, something her old self would never do upon hearing that she's in a team

I especially loved how vindicated you sounded when Michael said that Joey and Rachel made no sense. ๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃ Cody mentioned that you were having microphone problems again, and I was so worried that you recorded this batch of episodes with no sound. Thankfully, that wasn't the case. Just make sure your microphone is working before you record any more Good Place reactions.

2025-05-27 01:47:56 +0000 UTCI get what Cody is saying....I don't think he misunderstands the show, I think he is saying that the overall concept SHOULDN'T be black and white even though the world building of the Good Place is in fact black and white.....but they need to watch more of the show anyway before a more in depth convo needs to be had about the black and white of good and bad
