september animation progress

progress on the animated dog story this month! obviously there's a lot of ugly things that can be tweaked but this is my first time animating more than like 10 seconds of content so I'm mostly happy with it x) it has basic text from windows' video editor, which I should probably change later, but for now it's fine. I also have a sound designer interested in working on this when I have more content done so it won't be so uncanny! also might reduce the framerate when it's done to see if I can't get it more 2d-looking

this is all pretty boring exposition right now but I'm about to start animating some more action/running/group shots and I'm excited for that challenge! I'll be posting more as its done. the backgrounds take up a lot of time and painting hurts my hand more than animating, so I'm still trying to find a balance for that.

also potentially I might do some more 2d animation, I'd really like to try animating to a song but I have to storyboard it out first. if/when I do that I'll also post it here. (I know I shouldn't dip into too many projects at once but it's just more fun that way ;;)
