Israel and Palestine Compared

Update: I posted a new link to the video. I had an error in the first one. Thanks to Gerry for catching it! It goes live at 3pm Central today in case you want to watch it before the general public does.

I am proud with how this one turned out. I was worried for so long about making it. Despite several people requesting it, I avoided making it because I felt I would ultimately just make people upset. Well, the video is now finally made (as you can see here), and...yeah...people will probably still be upset, but hey that's how it goes. I am still proud of it because I spent many hours researching and producing, meticulously trying to get it to be as balanced and accurate as possible. A shout out to beacebrocess (with whom I am collaborating with for this video), Sam Aronow (also check out his channel!), and Jacob Fridman for all looking over the script and making several suggestions to help me improve it. The video is far from perfect, but hopefully it does at least a little bit toward more peace in the region. We can all dream at least, amirite?

Thank you for your continued support!

Comments

I think you did a good and fair presentation.Everyone should watch this.

Gerry Kahle

Indeed 😳

Mr. Beat

The comment section on YouTube is gonna be interesting for this one.

Alex Gorell

So much history on such a small sliver of land. I'm sure the comment section on YouTube will be completely civil with no drama whatsoever.

Paddy Mac

Ok, I added a correction card

Mr. Beat

I can't believe you're the first person to comment on this. I meant 1900 BC. How is it you are the very first person to catch this mistake? Goodness. Thank you Gerry.

Mr. Beat

Abraham 1900 years ago? So Abraham came after Jesus of Nazareth?

Gerry Kahle

😄😳

Mr. Beat

This is going to be an interesting comments section, lol

a nice tid bit is that Saladin did not like the treaty he had with Richard. but Richard was winning in Saladins view, but in Richards view holding the area was impossible. so the treaty forced Saladin to allow christians to live in the area under equal protection. This is why many consider the Third Crusade a success.

I always distinguish it in my videos, but you are correct to point that out

Mr. Beat

The Byzantine empire is the roman empire. the proper way of going about it would be "when the western half the of the roman empire fell."
