Emma used to be a lone scientist who worked under a very harsh superior, nothing she did was ever good enough and she always had to redo calculations and experiments time and again because they didn’t believe Emma’s potential and professionalism. Even so she still did her best and her efforts didn’t go unnoticed, as the imperial militia needed a capable scientist it was Emma who was picked and not her superior. As her own boss, Emma became even better and more efficient at what she does, as there wasn’t any more pointless redoing stuff or wasting time. She also found time to learn about strategies and self defense and is now helping not only with weapon development but also programming and assigning the right personnel for the right weapon and strategy.
