Arena Upgrade!
Added 2025-08-05 16:01:39 +0000 UTCWe are thrilled to announce to everyone a New feature for Asgard Arena: Critical and Battle Damage!
When a Character is able to land a Critical Hit, Battle Damage will be applied on their oponente!
The Battle Damage CAN BE SFW OR NSFW (Depending on the OWNER's choice!) and will bruise and/or break the character armor and in the case of anyone suffering from Battle Damage, the new artwork will be placed as the Character's portrait in the Arena Rounds.
Important Note: The SFW or NSFW tag chosen for the character will be carried on during that semester tournament!
Aside from the effects on the Character's artwork in the Arena, the one who LANDED the Critical Hit will receive a piece of LOOT from their opponent which can be used on Lyniah's Atelier to create a Character Design (Adoptable) (More Information about the LOOT System will be added in a separate post)
Now that you all know about the feature let me tell you:
HOW CRITICAL WORKS:
Critial Hits will ONLY happen when a Strike with Special Effects of TRUE STRIKE OR GUARD go through!
The Battle Damage will be a single artwork, no matter which kind of attack (True Strike or Guard) go through BUT the Special Effect used WILL AFFECT THE LOOT!
If an Strike with TRUE STRIKE lands a Critical Hit - the User will receive a Piece of the Opponent's Armor!
If an Strike with GUARD lands a Critical Hit - the User will receive a Piece of the Opponent's Weapon!
This difference in loot will also change the kind of Character/Homunculus that Lyniah will make in her Atelier

Very interesting 😲, i was fine with just battle damage, but this loot system takes it to the next level o.o, so hyped!
