Supporter Newsletter - August

Hello to all of our beautiful Supporters! Happy August everyone! I am so sorry that this newsletter was delayed but unfortunately at the end of July I (Lukian) caught COVID-19. I'm almost 100% now but it was a rough couple of weeks for sure and I hope you all are staying safe.

July was a pretty fun month despite my sickness. From Canada Day and the 4th of July, I'm sure everyone had a ton of fun. We even had our first ever Summer Bash which lasted the entire month and had our biggest giveaway for a PS5 which was awesome! I don't have a ton to add for this newsletter since I had been sick but let's jump into our budgeting for the month of July.

Please note that all of these expenses do not include any extra revenue Requiem did not spend. A majority of the money spent for June has gone towards Staff Benefits (%48) which includes staff payments, team giveaways, officer of the month, sot officer plunder passes, etc. Our monthly normal savings (%20) go towards our charity events and taxes at the end of the year. An additional expense that we always have is our Server Hosting/Maintenance (%12) which goes towards our VPS, Dedicated Machine Hosting, Premium Bots, Website, etc. Our last monthly expense is our Giveaways (20%) which goes to exactly what you'd think.

Unfortunately, not all of the members on our team were able to give an update this time around but I will add everyone that has. I usually push to get an update from everyone but truly me being sick threw a wrench into my plans last month. Hopefully, you can all forgive me and still enjoy this month's newsletter. Please also keep in mind that we saw the departure of two of our Moderators last month.

Happy August!  

Hello to all of our new and old supporters. My name is Penny and I'm the Community Lead for Requiem. Throughout July and so far in August I have been finalizing details on our merch store and I'm so excited for how close we're getting to launching it. So for the foreseeable future I will be working on finishing and launching the store, getting orders placed and fulfilled and finally get all of you awesome people representing Requiem IRL. Here's to another crazy but amazing month, I love you all!

Moderator - PJ

Hello! For those that don't know me, I am PJ a developer here at Requiem and the trial moderator for the Development Team. Recently, developing and servicing all the bots and sites you love so much has become a bigger activity. Enough work was generated and I was asked to assist on creating new and fun bots, while Dash will be focusing on providing amazing platforms for our bots to live in. Even though I am a trial moderator, I bring tons of industry experience and look forward to working on creative and interesting projects. Please reach out to me if you have a bot/project suggest and want to develop the idea before posting it in a suggestion channel. Just in case you were wondering, and as I wrap up, I do enjoy talking to people about non developer stuff as well and do enjoy Sea Of Thieves.

Hey guys, Jeefer here  

Over the last month me and the Support Team have been working very hard to offer you guys support wherever needed, we have also been sorting through all of your great suggestions in preparation for this months Townhall so some of the more popular ideas can be touched upon, I hope to see all of you in attendance! Some of our plans for the upcoming months are to work on way's to efficiently help all of you in help chat as well as talking with all of you in the chats.

Hello there it's Yassinator, one of the General Moderators.  

Over the past month, I've been in the background as usual and worked on my projects as well as I've been keeping up with the overall upkeep of the community. it's going smoothly and I'm making progress at a stable pace, and so is the growth of our Community.

Howdy everyone. Roesch21 here. As many of you know I’m the Recruitment Lead for Requiem. It’s been a fairly busy month for the team. Nothing we can’t handle of course. Big thanks to all of you guys and gals that support what we do here. Y’all help make it all possible!

Moderator - Drizzy

Hello everybody. It's Drizzy.  

I am one of Requiem's General Moderators, but that being said...  

This month has brought some big changes, and that includes me taking over as the acting SoT Lead for the time being until a more permanent replacement is found. As for SoT, we have been continuing to work hard so that we can provide you guys with the quality servers that we are able to produce. Our officers have been hard at work with all of the events every single day, and we hope that you guys have been enjoying what we do here.  

In terms of new updates, we have brought on many new promising officers to the team that have all been very dedicated to bring you guys the best alliance servers around! I am also currently planning to work out possible new voice call channel names, so you guys can specify what you are doing even more to avoid any hassle or confusion.   

If you ever see me around don't be afraid to stop by and say hello! Thank you all for your support, as it really does help our community in every way possible. Until next time everybody!

Moderator - JunkyWRX

Hey y'all, Junky again!   

I know so many of you are so hyped for Requiem's FiveM server and I know in the last newsletter we said something about it being released at the end of July. Well...that one's my bad haha!  

Currently our FiveM development team is still working on the server but we definitely see the server launching in August. With the current stages of the server and the meetings that the FiveM Team and our Admins have been having, I can confidently say that you'll be running the streets of Los Santos very soon!   

Keep and eye out for some more hype building projects and as always, thank you for supporting Requiem in what we do, and I can wait to see you filthy grinders in the streets of LS!
