Looking up reference for this page, especially when trying to find some references for Yoko, was very sad. Preemie babies with underdeveloped lungs are so small.

2018-01-04 12:11:00 +0000 UTCOne of my friends lost her daughter years ago, and now she makes outfits and pocket sized shrouds, out of donated wedding dresses, for ‘angel babies,’ preemies either stillborn or who die within moments of birth. I have helped her by making crocheted hats. The hats are so tiny they fit on an egg, and the larger ones fit on a baseball. Beautiful and very sad, but comforting to the parents and families that the baby has something to wear or be put in.
