For this one I had a fairly clear color mock-up made but it was pretty difficult in the editing stage to make it how I’d envisioned! Still, in the end I’m very happy with how the light looks, a little more wispy I guess? I also tried something a little new with the smoke and I’m absolutely in love, I think I’ll definitely have to do some more like that very soon.
Jones and Horatio spending time alone is quite rare, with Horatio’s busy schedule. But at the start of the 1930’s story Hor whisks Jones away to Paris, to get away from life in New York for a while, a month tops. Lewis isn’t too happy about it. ;3
I hope you like it, I’m sorry that I’m not answering many comments, I’ve been feeling less than great lately. Art’s still fun tho and I enjoy creating more than anything! It’ll just take a little bit for me to feel enough energy to interact more enthausiastically- in the mean time, please know any words you leave are always read and appreciated and please enjoy the painting 💓🌸
