Added 2022-02-10 19:20:23 +0000 UTCI wanted to do a lil teeny painting with Jones and Xue, another character from the 1930’s story!! They’re friends but never hook up in said story, I just had a craving to draw them together, I can dream 💞
These two meet when Jones trashes Xue’s boat during one of his drunken stupors. Accidental, but messy. From there Xue sets to cleaning him up, brings him to his parents who feed him as well as offer Jones the chance to help with work in order to pay back the small amount of damage he caused, all the while unaware that he’s the younger MacAllistair.
Xue later becomes an reporter at one of NY’s Newspapers, which means he gets to be in the thick of it when the Benottis and MacAllistairs eventually wage war. (And he gets to bother Detective Rick about his latest finds ;3)
