New Video: Coco!

Hello my dear patrons!!

I’m charging this in December because I didn’t want to charge too many videos in November, but here we are!! I had fun with this one. Has anyone seen Coco yet? The track was done by the lovely Cristian Villagra who has been helping me a lot recently, and we are able to work together because of you all!

Be ready for a BIIIIIGGGG updates video and “Team Malinda Census” (survey about Patreon) coming this weekend. It will be very important to me to get as much feedback from you all as possible.

Also, quick poll—do you prefer when artists do Patreon monthly as opposed to per video or does it make a difference to you?

Thank you for watching and supporting, my friends. I am here because of you :). Happy December!

I'm too broke to support anyone but if I did support people I think I would prefer the "Per Video" thing, because you don't get charged if the person or people you're supporting don't produce content

I prefer per video (with a cap, but Malinda also limits how many videos she charges for every month, so it doesn't matter much), that way I'm only charged if she actually produces anything .

Patreon aggregates the payments for me, so I'm only charged once a month for all the creators I support.

I prefer monthly, and I think it makes simpler sense to me. I remember being startled and dazed when I saw the per video thing, since I didn't fully understand the implications of that at first.

Distorlar Subvoyikar

Monthly is much better for me

On another note, you should really look into translating a song from The Last Five Years. So much brilliant writing, it would be fun to see how Google Translate messes with it :)

Whitney Dodson

Since you can set a monthly cap, I'm ok with individual videos.

Whitney Dodson

I prefer the per song with a monthly max, although I could easily switch to monthly. I support (i look at it as an investment of sorts) a few artists, and none produce videos just for the volume - it has all been high quality material. I just wish I could do more for them.

Bill Karle

I think I would prefer monthly.

Elaine Williams

I prefer monthly because it would be one charge per month as opposed to multiple times a month

Ilana Egger

When you set per-video you can set a monthly max

Invisible Jazz

When you set per-video you can set a monthly max

Invisible Jazz

I prefer monthly as I used to back an artist per video, every video but stopped as they just made loads more videos of much lower quality.

I would prefer monthly to per video that way I have a set amount each month
