November Update
Added 2019-11-04 17:01:55 +0000 UTCHello, hello! It's (sort of) the first of the month! In October, y'all helped me decide to do some live-writing and helped me decide how to schedule it. These have been really helpful so far! All my livestreams have netted a minimum of 1000 words, plus I get to blow off steam chatting with y'all, so I definitely plan to keep doing these.
I also posted two fics: A Curious Face Born from Debris, a Spiderbyte Halloween fic, and the October Patreon reward, Unaddressed (link goes to AO3; part 2 is here on Patreon and will go live on AO3 this Wednesday). Together these were about 15,000 words, so I gave myself some leeway on posting a TOTIS update too, although I've been poking away at it behind the scenes.
Also behind the scenes, I got some work done on my fic for the Danger & Dread zine! This is a McHanzo horror zine projected to be available to order in March 2020. If you're curious, mine is a McHanzo spin on urban legends about hotels you can't escape, and you may see it pop up from time to time on live-writing streams (with plenty of warnings for potential darker stuff, of course). $5+ patrons will also start seeing teasers in the shared drive and the WIP Discord channel.
Speaking of which, if you're having any trouble at all getting into Discord or you're a $5+ patron who's not sure how to access the shared drive, please don't be afraid to contact me!
Definitely coming this month:
- November reward poll winner: Fareeha summons demon Satya to help her with her taxes
- At least one TOTIS update
- McHanzo "role reversal" one-shot
- Patrons-only live-writing streams: Sunday, Nov. 17, at 4PM EST and Wednesday, Nov. 27, at 7PM EST
Stretch goals for the month:
- Poke at various WIPs, especially the superhero AU -- at the very least, finish full first draft of ch. 1
- Finish drafting all of TOTIS, even if it's not remotely postable
- Finish one of my variety of near-finished one-shots
- Get some extra livestreams in
As always, thank you all for your support! I'll be giving these updates once a month, I think, just so we can all see the wrap-up and know what's coming next. (Plus sharing what I have accomplished always gives me a little energy boost to do more!)
