BEHIND THE CREATION OF MEILI

My second oc Meili Panda, but my first panda.

Created on October 17, 2020. My friend loppybun suggested we create panda ocs, since at the time I was starting to be obssesed over panda girls on the internet! So I created Meili. At first she was the complete opposite of loppybun's panda, his was short and thick, mine was suppose to be tall and "flat".

His panda's name is Okimi, originally they were roomates and best friends. 

Kept this up for a while until my friend dropped it (Like most of the things we did tbh lmao). 

Fastforward to 2021: there was this panda oc made by a former friend who I rather keep nameless, but those who know... Anyways, we got our ocs together as a couple for a while:

However this dumb idiot didn't contribute with a single piece for them, yet he demanded pics from me, so I decided to push him away, and well lots of personal things happened after I did that. To keep it simple, dude thought we were in a real relationship. After the incident, I put Meili away for a while, while I was focusing on Meilo and Satsu content at the time. 

After that, I finally brought her back and she became my most popular oc around July of 2021, even above Satsu!!

BEFORE PANDXZ, she was a regular employee at Gamestop, a fan of the supernatural, she got a book from the local library about dark magic and shit, one time she found a summoning spell, tried it at home when she got off work. SHE SUMMONED A CREATURE FROM HELL... That creature is.... SATSUJIN FALCONE, but that's a storu for another entry... And shes also responsable for Ovidia being "revived", HOW? The graveyard she was buried at is literally behind her house.

Anyways, not all the spells ended well, depends on how you see it actually.

She was also a Gym instructor at some point too:

Her on going joke was that she had a different job each time, but she always went back to gamestop.

THE PANDXZ ERA:

Let's quote the lore:
"The Bassist in the band, after having multiple jobs, she finally decided to give in with her brother's idea of creating a band, since she was a little panda, she learned how to play the guitar and the bass thanks to her mom. Her mom is the most important person in her life, since her parents gotdivorced she was split away from her twin brother, keeping low contact with him, her mom was always there for her in that rough time in life. Now she even dedicated songs to her and with the fame and money she has, she helps her with all the bills so her mom can finally rest from all those years he had to take care of her. She likes paranormal things like demons, ghosts and other stuff."

In this era is when I decided to make her (and Meilo) Canadian, why Canadian? simply cause I have a certain love for Canada because of my time living there during my teen years!

In this era is were she became the party animal she is now days, the happiest of the group, the possitive one, always happy to say hi to all the fans and if you're lucky, even more than just "hello". 

She is also the only one who don't wear shoes at all out of all my characters (Cause I use her for footjob shit cause she's just perfect for that lmaooo).

She just went thru small changes in her design, giving her more of a "goth" girl vibe, shorter hair too. 

Not a really "complex" story behind her, cause I've always been happy with her design, character and all that, but she's the first panda I made and even tho she's not in the spotlight anymore, she got her fans and I'm always happy to draw her and her pieces are always the hottest ones I tend to make! 

In future entries we can talk about her lore and not just what's behind her creation, and that goes for all characters!
