More animation training? You choose.

After weeks of training and troubleshooting, I have my first new animation to show:

Should I...
1. Try making a short sample game featuring one of my characters using new coding and animation features (and then return to normal rewards etc)
or
2. Go back to normal rewards as soon as possible.

Option 1 will allow me to see what I'm capable of doing for the future, and hopefully expand what I can offer sooner. I will be sharing the final animated mini game with ALL my paying patrons at all levels. And I'll still be going back to normal rewards, just after this detour.

Option 2 will just go back to how things were a few months back, and I'd just have to integrate my new animation knowledge more slowly as I go.

Please note that whether I go back to rewards as usual now or after making the game, I am essentially "Unpausing", not attempting to catch up with any months spent on improving my animation/art.
