Read somewhere that the monkey stuff was actually a much bigger part of the movie originally and it got cut back, not that it was added in after. Also, I’ve only seen it the one time, is it possible that the shoe could’ve been leaning up against something? But I’m with Carl, when I saw it I def though that shit was aliens holding it up
