Warriors vs Mavericks | GM-53 |

Comments

@Offtopic K who is idiotic now, look how they cooked OKC, don't worry i didn't forget you

Naji Zouhari

Kuminga has been the reason I have been tuning into these games

Leif

It is a 5D chess move with the upcoming rule change of allowing 2 basketballs in play at once.

Jake Winter

While it's true that every team can shoot 3's now, I do recall seeing a stat that the Warrior's perimeter D was the worst in the league. Literally DEAD LAST. I don't know if that's still the case, but it's one of the major reasons for their struggles, it's why games are close even when we're not being turnover machines. We lost GP2, we lost Mike Brown, the vets are older and slower, we lack length/size, and there's a general lack of focus from everyone. All those factors together combine for teams just raining 3's on us at will. We rely on the "Clamp Bros" as Alch put it, but that's not enough, and frankly Wiggs has been a disappointment there too. We just lost too much defensive oomph. It's pretty obvious when you just compare last season's team to this one and just ask "what changed?"

Neal X

Only reason I don’t immediately say punt the season is the fact that half the west is around .500. That being said, let’s see what we can do with a lineup of heavy minutes for the young guys. Get Wiseman out there, run things through Kuminga, and let’s see what we’ve got for real

Carlb710

I think it's better to let some young guys go like Moody and Wise and concentrate on others who can actually succeed here like JK and PBJ because still, Wiggs, Poole, and Looney are pretty young so it's not like we will lose all of our players at once.

Ilfat

I agree with u. With his physical gifts, it's weird that he doesn't rebound more, the same with Wiggs. Wiggs was a monster on rebounds last play-off, but now it's gone for whatever reason. Kuminga also showed some promise in that Charlotte game when he was grabbing rebounds late in the game. So I have a couple of possible reasons. Obv, he guards perimeter players so he's usually far away from the basket, but even when he's under the basket since he's been guarding perimeter players he just loses focus and timing. Looney is always under the basket so he kind of gets into a rhythm. and Kuminga isn't also very tall (6.6) and doesn't have a huge wingspan (6.7), I mean he's explosive and athletic if you gave a little bit of space he can dunk on your head, but it's all with pace and acceleration so from a static situation he's not that great I can assume (he's still better than anybody else, but most 4 are taller than him with longer wigspan). I mean he must be a much better rebounder still and I think his best position would still be 3, not 4 and playing in front of guys with occasional post-ups, cuts, drives and corner 3. so if we play him at 3 we have 4 and 5 to rebound and can allow him to concentrate guys on the defence on the perimeter. He's still 20 and while he's athletic his body hasn't developed yet so he lacks upper body strength a little bit. I noticed that when Morris from Clippers could overpower him for the rebound and some other older and more experienced guys.

Ilfat

I feel like I’ve been saying this all season. We better our play by holding on to leads, executing late in game, better shot selection, take care of the ball, and we defend w/o fouling, we up there with the best of not the best. Add on the fact that we can potentially trade for an big that gives us size, rim protection, an scorer on the roll, and most importantly, he can be out there in late games. Who says no that we can ultimately win another chip n go b2b.

JW

I guess they just shouldn’t even bother showing up to the rest of their games then /s

____

Nah Coach Kerr is just sick and tired of having to deal w/ the family members of all those clipboards he destroyed. I imagine I would get mentally exhausted from having to deal w/ that kind of thing, too. (If you don’t get the “joke” don’t worry b/c I wasn’t joking about anything. I mean, every time you freak out while a camera is pointed at you it will go viral and you will be asked at least 17 billion annoying questions about it; don’t believe me? watch the film, “we need to talk about Kevin.”) [no comment as to weather that last part was a “joke”]

____

of course we do. this team can afford to play w/o the greatest shooter of all time (who happens to be the reigning Finals MVP for ppl who care about individual accolades & other superlative trophies). Kerr really needs to figure out what’s going on w/ this roster, and he can’t do that without being able to remove certain “constants” and checking each “variable” in the [metaphorical] equations – so to speak. In Kerr’s tenure as HC, we’ve had far worse [injury] luck + had way more chaotic seasons than this one, but still managed to “overachieve” etc. (ex: see last season for starters)

____

it’s almost like you’re just choosing not to see the reality of the situation right in front of you. like most of y’all, i’ve been a GSW fan my entire life…which means the majority of my life has only known the Warriors as the league’s doormat franchise. i get that we all can “take winning for granted” and everything, but IMO the GSW are basically the modern era version of those Duncan/Parker/Manu/Leonard era Spurs teams that won several championships (spanning 3 different decades, mind…). food for thought

____

But why weren’t they already taking their games REALLY seriously? [rhetorical]

____

You can't imagine they fully pack it in and go all young now. Even if Steph is out for 6 weeks, the warriors are still currently in the playoffs as it stands. It's a fucked scenario, but when has this organization ever waived a white flag this early?

Pb1203

Defense, chemistry, motivation,effort, bench

Elias Candelaria

Not a nitpick, man. In fact I’m asking specifically because I’ve been so blown away by just about every other aspect of his game.

Ejikeme Uzoigwe

yes, Dray is about to put hands on Kerr. Dray, Steph, and Klay LOVE Kerr and Myers, he brought them rings you idiot. You're one of the dumbest posters I've ever seen on here dude. You're the idiot who says Kerr doesn't want Wiseman to succeed because he loves Looney so much lmao, and Looney isn't that good lmao...fucking lunacy. And now you're saying Dray is about to put hands on Kerr lol. Kerr and Curry brought us a dynasty you imbecile, they made Mark Jackson look like the fraud he was. You don't know ball dude.

A m a r Singg

Bro u already lost y are u still here lol, Wiseman was a team pick but little did they know Kerr would try to sabatoge him and the rest of the young guys including jk, he only played jk once he realized they were going to be the worse team in the league, stop trying to make it vets vs young guys, its everyone vs Kerr lol he been trash that's y dray be about to put hands on him

k fish

🤣 it hurts u so much jk is great, u don't know ball

k fish

Small part is his aggressiveness attacking the glass but mostly its because be is primarily guarding the best perimeter player, I hate how we nitpick young guys yet we have guys who disappoint on the glass alot like klay and wings, this seems to be a problem with Kerr and the fans...tough on the young guys but vets cans slide

k fish

First order of business is to get Jerome and Lamb on the roster. Who volunteers to tell Iguodala that he must retire? Kerr does look…..disengaged, but it’s hard to judge, he’s always been more stoic than most coaches. I spent 40 years watching the Warriors flounder, NEVER even making the playoffs, so I’m hoping they don’t trade away the youngsters who will make the Warriors relevant for years, PBJ, Wiseman, Moody, all useful for keeping the team in the playoffs. Throwing everything in for one last gasp…..ugh.  Who thinks Kyrie can coexist with Jason Kidd? I don’t.

Jerry Heverly

I’d love to hear an explanation as to why Kuminga - for all his impressiveness - still comes up so short on rebounds. Angles? Spacing? Timing? Effort? Just curious what people are seeing. I keep forgetting to focus on that during the game.

Ejikeme Uzoigwe

Arguably Kuminga & Moody we’re two development guys who got real minutes on a championship team. So Kerr def did his part for the two timelines. But five players was just too much.

Ejikeme Uzoigwe

Lol dudes on here? Nobody has said anything to me on here except u because what I say is fact lol, nba history has nothing to do with this team, Kerr has always played favoritism but had ultra talent to overcome it, its not a secret, his own player javale Magee said Kerr wants to get rid of the center position, another guy he treated unfairly and almost lost a series because of it, Kerr helped make this roster lol, the players who were supposed to be stepping up been held back by Kerr on purpose......Kerr thinks steph and the vets could keep carrying him while he shits on the young talent but it backfired on him. Now he only has clowns like u still defending him, it's right in front of you, you're trying to blame guys who don't play, when Wiseman played since coming back from the g he looks more then serviceable, but small ball stevie won't allow those minutes for an actual big and thinks 3 jacking is better then an inside presence. This isn't new dummy, you're just late to the party just like jk hater. You can't evaluate talent or the game.....now magically jk is good lol you're sad bruh

k fish

This is EXACTLY what should happen.

Jerry Heverly

yes and Kerr doesn't want Wiseman to succeed because he loves Looney. lmao. It's not even about the young guys, it's about the roster construction you doofus. You can't develop 5-6 roster spots and expect to contend. This is what dudes on here have been trying to tell you but you still don't get it. It's simple shit, learn NBA history.

A m a r Singg

Moody has been given plenty of chances and has underperformed every single time. He HAS been trash this year, period. He simply can't guard his position right now. He NEVER overperforms given his chances, and gets outplayed by Lamb and the other guards. PBJ I love, but he's 19. I'm not willing to just give up on another year of Steph's prime (and Klay having a better year than last, and Draymond as well)...especially if this is their last year together, until it's totally clear they won't make it. I feel we owe it to the core, and the young guys will get plenty of run when the team totally sucks. For Moody, check out the video Alc did recently comparing him to Lamb.

A m a r Singg

I challenge anyone to name a good nba team who has had to develop this much young talent. It never works. Phil Jackson and Pop wouldn't even allow it. I remember that lebron team in LA that was stacked with great young talent (DLo, Ingram, Lonzo, Caruso, Randle, etc)..they didn't make the playoffs.

A m a r Singg

They would be stupid as hell to blow up a dynasty because of a bunch of young guys who likely don't have high ceilings (aside from JK).

A m a r Singg

He should not have closed that game. they needed rebounding and Kuminga was mistiming his rebounds. They went with DDV instead of Poole for defense, and brought in looney for rebounding (which won them the game). It was a great move, and the right move.

A m a r Singg

you aren't going to win shit playing Moody and Wiseman that much, or it's at least going to be much harder to win.

A m a r Singg

but he took charges and was always in the right place. Better than Moody.

A m a r Singg

they should've traded them in the offseason, and resigned GP2. Added more vets who were ready to play. Two timelines was always a dumb idea, now it's being exposed.

A m a r Singg

keep suckling up to Lacob and his two timelines, I"m sure it'll work out for you. Wiseman will be GREAT!! LOL. There's a reason why these guys ride for each other, Kerr rides for the core and Myers rides for the core. You keep siding with the young bums and Lacob tho lmao. You really think the core wanted this to be a developmental year? Are you fucking blind dude? You'll have fun once Steph retires and you'll have plenty of young lotto picks to drool over. Your analysis always sucks and lacks nuance, because you aren't intelligent. Kuminga did suck, he sucked hard early in the season go look at his efficiency, Kerr reeled him in. Are you even watching now? Kuminga is taking much better shots and cutting at the right times. And you said Kerr doesn't want WISEMAN to succeed because he loves Looney?? lmao, retard shit. Is that why Kerr started him in his rookie year over Looney and he turned out to be the worst offensive player in the league? lmao, again costing them games when they probably could've avoided the play-in? yes dude Kerr is my daddy and he's sabotaged the season, he also has 9 rings genius and flipped us from a mediocre team with MJ to a dynasty. You obviously just started watching, because if you've been watching you'd know all the young players who have improved under Kerr. Your grammar sucks, your analysis sucks, and you're unintelligent. Keep blaming Kerr though, other dudes on here are trying to TEACH your young and dumb ass that no roster EVER has been successful with 5-6 developmental spots yet you just ignore it because you can't face reality. You're a joke dude...and again, your grammar sucks, you can't be past high school. You need to read more too, the stuff on Lacob is well known, Wiseman is a Lacob pick, not a Kerr or Myers pick.

A m a r Singg

huh? he got hurt giving a 100 on defense

james moore

Lee defense was always bad

Fuq yu

We're all ready to blow this thing up, but this ain't a typical season. Spots 4-13 in are up for grabs each night. Noone is pulling away, so we could still be in the race.

Macca

Lol you mad I been killing you all year bruh 🤣 you don't watch basketball you listen to talking heads, I can tell by you're two timeliness talk. Again you can't blame players who aren't playing dumbass, with the young guys this roster is still one of the most talented in the NBA and that's not debatable....but you don't watch basketball so you wouldn't know that. I can name you guys doing more with less.....pelicans got a bunch of young guys who are key contributors, kings have a rookie starting, nuggets have young guys playing.....etc..your counting the roster spots as if it's relevant especially when you got iggy sitting there....Kerr endorsed him, the starters along with poole jmg who Kerr wanted, ddv, kuminga, moody, Wiseman and since Kerr loves the lamb and ty are way more then enough. But when you're coach panics and benches guys because be sucks at his job that's when u lose....now you out here sucking off Kerr when it's clear he has been pathetic. Who says the vets and Myers are mad at lacob? I think Myers is pissed at kerr.....sitting his draft picks when they clearly can help. You trying to change the narrative because you're daddy Kerr is getting exposed lol if anything u and him look dumb for not playing the young guys more, Kerr is doing the worse coaching job I'm the nba

k fish

Alch, you preached and we saw how great kuminga was tonight. How come he wasn’t out there to close the game out and even play defense. I hope Poole realizes that once this curry era is over and he officially is handed the keys… it’ll be kuminga driving the car

Ben D

Wait u said kuminga was a young bum like a month ago lol

k fish

Lmfao give up bruh I been bullying you all year, lol the fact you trying to to use this team struggles as an indictment on the young guys shows how dumb you are when the only young guy playing is 1 of our best players. Kerr hasn't developed anyone.....it took looney 5 years to be playable and even now he is a rebounder and screen setter, that's not development lol Poole didn't continue to play dummy, he was sent to the g league and sat behind Brad wanamker.....you remember the season kerr.cost us a playoff spot lol you're cooked bruh.....you been wrong about every basketball take you ever made....you're a Kerr fan boy who doesn't know the game.....you said jk was trash and moody was the most ready, and lamb is way better then both lol

k fish

Remember that South Park episode with the douche and the turd sandwich?

Grizzly Thief

That’s an idiotic take..

Offtopic K

Exactly.. I’ve been arguing with people for thus exact reason.. curry, draymond, and klay aren’t necessarily the definition of health… imagine we traded all the young guys a few weeks ago.. now we’d be praying to get a gimpy steph out there

Offtopic K

100% agree with you Alch.. I may be late to the Kuminga train fully but I would start prepping Kuminga to be the 2nd option coming into next year.. if I were Kerr… Kuminga needs 25+ minutes regardless of mistakes.. and I’m giving Wiseman snd moody 15 minutes to try and figure out what I have and the best way to gameplan their playstyles… a positive is maybe we can win enough games to stay in the play in mark, give the core 5 some much needed rest, and develop the young players even further or we just play them out the rest of the year, sit steph out and come back next year with a much deeper.. hopefully more hungry team

Offtopic K

Just took a look at Damion Lee's stats this year, he's having an amazing year. People talk about how we let go of GP2 and OPJ because of two timelines, but losing guys like Lee and JTA for two timelines was also devastating. Guys like that brought maximum effort, energy, and discipline every night and had great chemistry with the core. We essentially gave Lee away for Moody, and Lee is having a shooting season that Moody could only dream of....47% from 3! Two timelines fail again.....

A m a r Singg

those are valuable roster spots taken up by development. Tell me a roster ANYWHERE in the HISTORY OF THE NBA where this has worked lmao. tell me clown. I own you.

A m a r Singg

Lmao dude is ridiculous

Ballin Forever

bruh, you said Kerr doesn't want Wise to have success because he LOVES LOONEY LMAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. Bruhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. lol. yes Kerr doesn't want Wise to be successful because it'll make Looney look bad lol. Sure dude.

A m a r Singg

Moody wasn't trash until he got yanked any time he made a mistake and PBJ has shown to be a legit player anytime he touches the floor. The way this season is looking, I don't think running the vets into the ground for the hopes of getting bounced in the playoffs is a well thought out decision

CNeal213

Kerr hasn't developed anyone?? LMAO. Looney came into the league as a wing dude, were you even a Warriors fan then? He developed into a winning big. Did you know that Mark Jackson didn't start Draymond? it was kerr who started Draymond. Did you know that Jordan Poole had one of the worst rookie seasons of ALL TIME??? Guess who kept playing him and developing him...you're a total asshat who probably only became a Warriors fan this year. lmao.

A m a r Singg

This steph injury is exactly why I always agreed with the 2 timelines, Steph is 34 years old and with age comes more injuries, it sucks but it's the way it is.

KuraiT

Two timelines = Kuminga, Wiseman, Jerome, Poole, PBJ, Rollins you idiot. NAME A CHAMPIONSHIP team with that many developmental roster spots. Name any good team in the league built like that? I'll wait. Go ahead, name a team dude. The core wanted WINNING VETS, but the Front office gave them two timelines. Keep Sucking on Lacob's dong dude, it's pathetic...I'll roll with the core and coach and GM who has given us 4 rings. Pathetic stuff. And your grammar isterrible and difficult to read and take seriously, learn proper english dummy. It's only right that you're a Wisetard as well, no instincts.

A m a r Singg

Yes Kerr sabotaged this year, listen to yourself dummy. You're a clown with terrible grammar. Kuminga was a low efficiency player early in the year, and he's adjusted and Kerr's short leash worked. Now ask yourself why isn't working on the other guys? is it because they might SUCK? lol Moody gets outplayed by Lamb and has been given plenty of chances. Name another contending team that has 5-6 developmental roster spots dude, name a team...i'll wait. This is why the core and Myers/Kerr have beef with Lacob right now, they want to win NOW. They JUST WON A CHAMPIONSHIP yet you're saying the are 'sabotaging' this season lmao. You're a Wisetard too aren't you? clown. Embarrassing. Klay is actually having a better offensive year than last year, so is Curry, so is Draymond (best shooting splits of his career)..yet you're blaming the core? dumbass.

A m a r Singg

yes Kerr hasn't developed anyone and Kerr has failed the team over and over. It's not the roster. Plenty of coaches have won with 5-6 developmental roster spots, you are right kris. Raise your iq and learn history, dummy.

A m a r Singg

Imagine trying to blame two timeliness when jk Been 1 of the best and important player on the team lol and the other guys don't get a chance

k fish

Lol you're so slow you don't get it, two timeliness? They haven't played the young guys clown, the starting lineup doesn't play all together all game this isn't hockey, that Stat means nothing, a coaches job is to put together lineups that make sense and play his best players, he hasn't done that. Kerr has sabatoged this year, had more then enough talent on the roster, he just never been much of a coach if we being honest. I already told you stop speaking about a sport you don't understand.....u said jk sucked just a few months ago and defended Kerr for dnp him while the team fell down the gutter. Jk is the only bright spot on this team right now. A bunch of the starters have thrown away multiple games this year, but Kerr is the biggest reason for this teams struggles. Ego and not understanding basketball is more then screens and 3s....

k fish

Lol you're a clown and fake fan, you been wrong all year, kerr hasn't developed anyone, you're a casual who doesn't understand the gameband just as Kerr fan boy. He has failed this team over and over....kuminga could of closed instead of anyone u listed except dray...watch a sport you understand.....you're mad you were way off on kuminga bum

k fish

This season is a wrappitty wrap even if Steph is only out a couple of weeks. It's clear as day that the consistent effort and focus as a team just isn't there. Time to really pivot to a post big 3 era. You don't trade them but the younger guys have to be the focus of minutes and development on the floor.

Alasdair Macdonald

you shouldn't be worried about your future when you have a championship core. Look at what the Lakers are doing, they are still going after it with 38 year old Lebron. Winning rings is not easy.

A m a r Singg

Bingo. I don't think there's ever been a championship team who had more than 1 developmental guy get significant minutes in their rotation. There's a reason why Phil Jackson NEVER played rookies unless he absolutely needed to (or they had crazy high iq like Luke Walton). Championship coaches know that young guys don't win rings, it just doesn't happen. 1-2 roster spots i can understand, but Kerr is dealing with 5-6 freaking developmental roster spots (more if you include the 2 ways). It's a ridiculous strategy that wasted another year of Steph's prime. Warriors fans should be pissed, but not at the coach...that's for sure...a lot of Warriors fans don't understand context though, it seems (Play Wiseman moaar!!! he's big!!! lol). One example would probably be Pop with Kawhi. But Pop reeled in Kawhi BIG TIME (much like kerr did with JK) to the point where Kawhi didn't want to play for him anymore. These noobs don't know history.

A m a r Singg

Yep resting players has made injury problems worse by far

KuraiT

Naw.. Kerr has been asked to do something no other coach has done. He has been asked to compete for a championship while developing 5 young guys at the SAME TIME. Kerr wanted to keep veterans so they can keep competing. The owner wants his 2nd and 3rd year players to help compete for a championship. So since you are saying Kerr sabotaged the young guys.. name me a coach that was asked to develop 4 young guys.. while maintaining the core and also asked to win a championship IN THE SAME SEASON

Ballin Forever

Should be a few weeks, it's not over. they are still in the hunt. Just have to take the next handful of games REALLY seriously.

A m a r Singg

It's crazy that the starting 5 is STILL almost unbeatable. Best lineup in the league by far. Really shows how bad the depth and chemistry down the roster really is. Two timelines fell flat on its face hard this year. Having this .500 record when you have the best starting 5 in the league is really a stain on Lacob/the front office.

A m a r Singg

no offense but that's one of the dumbest things I've read on here lmao. They need Wiseman? lmao. bruh their biggest mistake was trying to implement Wiseman early on in the season, it cost them multiple games...they freaking started out 3-7 and his +/- was horrendous. It was so bad they had to send him back to the g league. Did you even watch the beginning of the season? Kerr has done a great job developing Kuminga is well. dunno what you're talking about. That starting 5 is STILL the best lineup in the league....so you want to blame the starters and Kerr?? LMAO, they have the best lineup in the ENTIRE LEAGUE, that should tell you right away that their biggest issue is depth.

A m a r Singg

I’d trade Fitz to the Kings for Mark Jones every day. I’d throw in Bonte and Buike and Kerith too.

SAOpp

they are still in the hunt. hold the fort as much as you can now. If they fail they can always play the young guys later.

A m a r Singg

I agree. Kerr should shorten the rotation and go all out to win during this stretch. don't listen to the fans who want to play the young bums. Play Kuminga and that's it. go for wins. If they fail now, they can always play the young bums to end the season. Or simply trade some of the young bums.

A m a r Singg

Kerr wants Wise to succeed, he just isn't very good. Kerr has developed plenty of young players, and he's done a great job with Kuminga. Remember, Looney came into the league as a wing and Kerr developed him into a winning big. JMG is a big who he's playing, because he plays hard and is simply better than Wiseman at everything. Kuminga wasn't rebounding well, which is why he didn't play much in the 4th (he still played 20 minutes), and what won us the game in the end? the rebounding of Looney and Draymond. who would you even close with Kuminga?? that's a foolish statement. Kerr closed with DDV, Klay, Wiggins, looney, and Green....who do you play Kuminga for? very foolish. It was a good, balanced closing lineup.

A m a r Singg

when you have a championship core, you shouldn't be stuck "developing" guys. So yes, they should trade them. They SHOULD'VE traded them, then they would probably still have gp2. JK is developing because he has feel and instincts, the other two guys lack both of those qualities, especially Wiseman. Moody is just limited athletically; Moody has no place because he can't guard his position (guards/wings). Lamb is outplaying Moody, which is pretty sad.

A m a r Singg

what do you mean? they are playing Kuminga a good amount. you want to play Wiseman and Moody more? they both stink right now. Warriors are still in the playoff hunt. I'd play the best players until they are completely out of it.

A m a r Singg

I don't think you just give up on the season. Sure Steph will miss a lot of games but with the all-star break I think we can still win enough games to get the 6th seed at the end of the season baring any more injuries. And as long as we are in the playoffs and healthy, I still feel like we have a very good shot at making a run for it. Steph is still playing just as good as last year and Klay is playing better from game to game so what has changed to last year?

Nico Mauri

Maybe, but the team was dying with Wiseman though. the guy's on/off and +/- are horrendous. I can't see Wiseman having a game like JMG had last night, the rebounding, screening, the hands...Wiseman just doesn't have that. Wiseman just isn't very good, and he doesn't even play hard. I watched him in Santa Cruz, he sulks when things don't go his way, and he doesn't hustle. Maybe in a few years.

A m a r Singg

He really needs to work on rebounding though if he wants to close. I think theycan get stops with him and Green at the 4/5, but they gotta be able to rebound.

A m a r Singg

The Chef is going to be out for weeks, but i think this is a blessing in disguise, Steph wasn't gonna give 100% on D anyways, so he would just be a liability on defense, and its fair, can't expect that from him at this age in the regular season. so the team had to figure out how to play even when he doesn't play good, even better , when he is not playing. so this is our last chance to save this year and get a ring

Naji Zouhari

Na Kerr just realized he isn't as smart as he thought....tried to sabatoge the young guys and still win but it backfired....now he is left looking dumb and needing the young guys especially kuminga and wise but he still will fight it till the end

k fish

Good breakdown alc but let's be real, Kerr isn't playing thru jk, more likely he plays thru Jerome lol Kerr despises the young guys, wouldn't even let jk finish this game. He doesn't want wise to have success because he loves looney....if he has 2 centers that deserve minutes it won't let he be small ball stevie

k fish

I think most would agree Draymond is a horrible 3 pt. shooter, and has been for his entire career. Draymond shoots 3's for his career at 32.6%, but his D, toughness, effort, passing, etc. make up for it, we know he can't shoot, the entire NBA knows this. Jordan Poole, our shooting guard who turns the ball over at league leading numbers especially for a guy who isn't passing into turnovers much, he just hands it over, for his career shoots 3's at 33.6%. Let that sink in. Dray 32.6%, Jordan 33.6%. And this year Draymond is outshooting Poole 33.3% to 32.4%. That's embarrassingly bad. At this point I don't think you can call Poole a "Shooting guard", I think he's played himself into the nickname "Turnover guard". Just try to drive with your first step and learn how to pass out of it.

Russ

Trade young guys or play them. It's such a weird situation because if we aren't playing them they're not getting reps and time they need and we don't trade them so at the end we just don't have enoug depth to help our core to win, but at the same time, it's not gonna help our future since they don't play = not getting any better and wasting their time and career and most importantly confidence.

Ilfat

Its becoming clear that resting guys is not reducing propability of injuries. Wiggins is taking rest games this year, and he has sat out more than he ever did before in his carreer. Curry is finding ways to get hurt that dont usually injure other players.. (IE- trying to strip a ball, falling on his butt while celebrating, and running along side someone while playing defense.) warriors just need to start playing their guys all the time

Adrian

Every game that goes by makes me question the decision to not play the young guys more.

CNeal213

I think if we had given all the JMJ playing time to Wiseman, he would be better than him rn, but yeah, what happened that happened.

Ilfat

idk.. but lacobs gotta find a way to retain him long term

richard phan

Yeah, Steph is out, but honestly if everybody steps up and play how they can play we can win games. I MEAN, Polle, Klay, Wiggs, Dray and Loon with Donte, Kuminga and JMR from the bench is not a bad team, but a big if is will they step up? That's another question. We need Wiggs to be Wiggs so badly rn. It can change things if he returns hif form from the beginning of the season and of course unleash Kuminga, he's already a very good player and honestly rn he's our third-best player after Dray and Steph. Poole, please, don't mess this up, play like you can and lock in!

Ilfat

How!? Tho

Athletic Alchemy

dontes part of the 2nd timeline bruv

Kuminga will need to play-both for the team and for himself-during this Steph-less era. He's looking really good at just the right time. Jordan Poole-just be CAREFUL-you'll get a lot of time but please stop the stupid turnovers just a bit.

I like Doris burka’s point of saying that most of the mistakes are coming from the vets, maybe just a lack of motivation but i dont see them being contenders

Elias Candelaria

Cuban probably thinks he can somehow 'handle' Kyrie and won't back down from a challenging talent. I think Cuban messed it up. Kyrie is an all time clown. Not as a player-he's incredible-but he always pulls his stuff at the worst possible times.

Ive been noticing Kerr's lack of intensity too. I remember he used to slam clipboards lmao. I think Kerr has come to the realization that this season is more likely a wrap.. from a championship perspective.

Ballin Forever

We have enough to win these upcoming games.

JW

So yea its confirmed Steph is out multiple weeks. I dont know if we should tank and let the youngins play more.. or try to hold the fort until Steph returns. Honestly if we not making any big trade.. i honestly prefer to see Kuminga.. Wise.. and Moody and PBJ get some extended minutes and run. And try to build towards next season. I dont see a world in which Steph returns and things just magicly turn around. Dont forget Draymond been hobbling too. They should treat this Steph injury like they did his hand a couple seasons ago and get another good draft pick

Ballin Forever

yeah Iv never heard of this injury

Cuban has officially botched the Luka era in Dallas

Athletic Alchemy

Seems like both good and bad news. Good news is, ACL, PCL, MCL and meniscus all seem to be fine, as well as the muscles. Bad news is, it's such an odd injury to the connective tissue between both the bones in the lower leg. Not much you can do with rehab to hasten the process, will be a lot of waiting for it to heal while maintaining as much strength as he can

Sunny Singh

I think they are nuts!

Athletic Alchemy

What do you think of the Mavs trade?

Elias Candelaria

Season changing news today. A long shot, but JP stepped up last season while Steph was out. Wiggs, too.

Chip Tingle

This season looks like it’s over with the new injury report
