App Update: Race Engineer V1.3
Added 2025-03-05 14:24:07 +0000 UTCv1.3 is a big update which does the following:
Random Comments Bug now fixed
Option added to toggle disabling Random Comments
Fixed race finish comment not playing bug
Complete overhaul of MFD navigation:
Fixed scaling issues
Fixed selecting option when only wanting to open MFD
No longer tied to mouse (Mouse Steering can now be used.)
Alignment of elements and other visuals look much better.
Misc code improvements and tidying

Thank you David for these tips. As for the ability to bind other buttons on the keyboard, can this be done at the moment of the application state or is it an advancement that you will program in the future. Thank you again for your information

2025-03-24 09:50:49 +0000 UTCHi, unfortunately, I haven't yet been able to set Audio output to use the same device as that set in content manager. For the time being, we need to use our computer's main output audio device. I have set mine to the same headphones I have set in content manager. Thanks :)

2025-03-13 14:50:46 +0000 UTCHi Jay, so it has a built-in auto close system where after a few seconds of inactivity it will close itself. I have left user setting at the top of the .lua file included if you which to disable that and have it stay open untill you want it to close. Thanks :)

I was just wondering tho with the race engineer everytime I go to use the mfd it flashes up for a second then disappears. By any chance do you know what I am doing wrong?

2025-03-10 22:43:17 +0000 UTCHi Fang, it should be happy in quick races and weekend sessions. It is possible that there is a bug with that preview version. I would recommend testing on normal CSP 0.2.5 and seeing if the issue still persists. Unfortunately, I have found preview versions to sometimes have bugs like that. Thanks :)

2025-03-09 19:37:20 +0000 UTCThanks, I'm very glad you are enjoying the app! The only thing you need to do in content manager is identify the number of the button you want to use as each binding. Then at the top of the .lua file you will need to put that number in there and save the file. :)
