As summer's warmth dwindled and holidays neared their conclusion, even the fearsome dragon felt the lure of a peaceful finale. Honoring a one-night cease-fire pact with the Chibi Heroes, he swooped down to their campsite for their last outdoor escapade of the season.
Landing gently, he was met with nods of acknowledgement rather than surprise. True to their pact, the Heroes welcomed him, and he, in turn, offered to light the bonfire. With a controlled puff, the logs ignited, radiating warmth and signaling the start of a unique evening.
That night, quests and treasures were set aside. Around the bonfire, the dragon and the Chibi Heroes shared stories, each enjoying the waning moments of summer in unexpected company. For a fleeting instant, adversaries turned into companions, united by the closing magic of the season.
