The Great British Lump Off!

Lumps Lumps Lumps.

Returning from the dill scented forests of Sweden, I bring news of a Lump Off. A competition to rival all others. A fest of chumps and of Lumps. A fantastic reason to kitbash a horrible troll sized creatures this autumn.

THE COMPETITION

Entrants are required to make 1 x Lump, based on the attached Lump Playtest Rules. Entrants do not have to use the Lump Generator, but should theme their Lump as either coming from Cist (Turnip28) or the city of Swill (Swill).

To make sure we know its a Lump, entrants should include a few medals on their model, as we all know, Lumps deserve a bit of recognition.

Category: Best Lump.

Judged once again by a shadowy and talented creator from our community.. and me.

The Best Lump will a win a Fantastic Prize: 3 x Sets of the winner's choice from the Turnip shop (excluding bundles).

Judges will be looking first and foremost for creativity. Inspiring diorama bases, impressive technical skills, and striking composition are all ways an entrant may show off their Lump skills, and will be considered when judging who has the BEST Lump.

Category: Worst Lump.

This is the Lump that personally terrifies me. The WORST and most horrific Lump will receive 2 x Sets from the Turnip shop (excluding bundles).

Category: Lump Herder's Choice.

Voted on by the public after the other winners have been announced, this Lump will be turned into a lovely art piece by one of the Turnip artists.

Our last competition's public's choice winner is being painted by me, and will become part of the Scabz! rulebook cover. Can't remember who got the most votes? Well, you'll have to wait for the final piece.

DEADLINE: Saturday 16th of November 2024

The end date of the competition will be midnight (GMT) of the 16th of November. The same day as Turnipcon Bristol, where we expect to see plenty of Lumps causing havoc.

Submissions: Entrants should submit a maximum of 3 photos and 1 video no longer than 60 seconds, to the Lump Off! Entries channel on the Turnip28 Discord.
