Early Access Art Drop!!!! (9/23)
Added 2023-09-23 16:37:38 +0000 UTCYoooooo I realized I was probably overworking myself too much trying to get artwork finished in time for the Patreon drops, to the extent I was starting to get stressed out... so I'm going to try to focus on sharing more WIPs instead of rushing to finish everything. Finalized artwork will still appear on my Twitter/FA, but for the time being I want to try and pace myself better and just share things as I work on them ^^;; I don't really want to be forcing myself to do overtime into my weekend and pushing for 9-10 hr workdays regularly just to get everything "finished" in time... It seems unnecessary for the amount of difficulty it requires. Hopefully that's understandable, lmk if y'all are okay with that or not ^^;;
Aside from that, I've been debating about getting on Bluesky... seems like a cool place, though I'm not sure yet. I'd like them to set up a direct message system so I can take commissions through it. It's something I've been mulling over since I'm a little worried about the reliability of Twitter/X as a platform. I still get a majority of my commissions through that, but I'm hoping I can use something else like FA more for those so I don't have to be so dependent on it for money. Would like to hear people's thoughts on that.

Lovely Mineru sequence! You're one of the fastest and most consistent artists. Please don't burn yourself out for or stress too much about Patreon updates. Smaller or less frequent updates are more than valid if they mean that you don't burn or stress yourself out in the long run!

2023-09-23 19:57:13 +0000 UTCRegarding Bluesky, and more something us as artists would think about, Bluesky *murders* images you post there (It will compress them even if you upload a JPG *and* scale to 2000pixels in at least one direction regardless of the image being smaller) so you will probably wanna make sure either you're linking off site or have it pinned in your profile. Def don't push yourself for Patreon though, small updates are fine 💖💖💖

And I can definitely confirm it's worth waiting longer or seeing the WIPs instead :P Being on Bluesky is probably a good idea, even if it is limited in that aspect. Taking the messages through something like telegram or discord might work a bit better there, but really up to you

However you can always redirect potential commissioners on the platform by either in the form stating places where you can communicate like discord or Twitter or stating places you can be contacted in the post itself
