In Flanders Fields (by John McCrae)

Remembrance Day (Veterans Day) is our time to remember those who fought and died bravely for the freedoms we have today. John McCrae was a Canadian poet, soldier, and physician who unfortunately didn't survive to see the end of World War I, but his poem survives and reminds us of the gravity of war.

Today we remember.
Aujourd'hui, nous nous souvenons.

Thank you kindly. I've always loved the poem, and was glad to have some recording time this year to get it done.

I think of this poem a lot come ANZAC day, the NZ equivalent. Lovely reading.
