Undersea Adventure + 2nd Anniversary (pls keep it secret today) + Raccoon Waiter

"Happy Cinco de Mayo" is what many people, as every year, are telling me today, I take it as a good gesture, despite most of Mexicans are upset that, mainly Americans, think it is a huge party day today for us when in reality it is nothing, just a historical date that we don't even celebrate. I just take it with humor, thank you for thinking on me as Mexican on this day :P
Also take it as an excuse to eat guacamole and drink Corona! :D

Today I have three pieces to share that have kept me distracted from a holy sht depression.
The first one is a big watercolor piece just because, a gnosis piece for myself that I found as an excuse to submit for the Anthrocon's conbook. And when I got to know the deadline was going to be very soon, then I had to rush it a little bit to get it in. For this one I recorded the whole process, this time including the sketch (since sometimes I skip the sketching part on these traditional pieces, since I considered it as a different/boring process, but I think it would be interesting for some how I do it for these big traditional pieces). The second is important that you don't show it around, not for today, keep it for your own eyes, I'm trusting that you won't show it because it is a surprise for my husband, it is for our second wedding anniversary, and I wanted to create something like this, where we don't need to be facing the viewer to tell an emotion. And the third one, another Denny's outing at late evening, the workers of that place already know that I always take crayons for drawing, in the entrance they hostess offered me crayons and if I wanted an activity booklet, but I preferred to stick with the regular tablecloths that are a blank canvas. And the waiter gave me two tablecloths, one for drawing over it and another for actually using it as tablecloth.
These days I've been on a very strict diet with no sugar and very few cereals a day, but that day I was feeling like crap so for one day I decided to break the diet and ordered a big milkshake and a burger with fries. That's why I decided to draw the raccoon waiter bringing a bunch of food, that kind of food that it is possible to order at a Denny's restaurant.

And that's all! This week I'm going to Furry Weekend Atlanta, if you're attending I see you there, not sure if I'm having an Artists Alley table or not, that's going to be confirmed, that was the problem of deciding to attend at a very last minute, so I'm in a waiting list for it. If not, I will just be there around.
