Happy 2023! What's the expectations for this year?
Added 2023-01-03 13:13:43 +0000 UTCHi! First of all, I hope you all had excellent holidays. 2023 is finally here and I personally I'm excited for this year. For who wasn't aware, 2022 I was very busy for several reasons, with the main reason being the final activities of my computer engineering bachelor degree. Thankfully, everything went right, my final paper and my last subjects were approved and I graduated at the middle of December.
With the course done, in 2023 the focus will be working on the major projects that requires most of the dedication. The first project to be worked on will be Super Metroid SA-1, which the reverse engineering process and memory mapping process is done and the next step is adapting the game internal operations to use the SA-1 memory map. Once the step is done, the game will be able to use the SA-1 CPU and the 10.74 MHz processing speed.
Once Super Metroid SA-1 gets done, I'll discuss and share the roadmap for the next months. We have a lot of games to be improved, the widescreen project needs to continue and I'm thinking on starting an actual YouTube channel for sharing tips and tricks for developing into the SNES system. I'm looking forward for 2023!
Thank you for reading and feel free to contact me through here and/or through messages.

2023-01-03 14:54:57 +0000 UTCCongrats on your Computer Engineering degree! I am old, it's been over 16 years since I got mine. Unsolicited advice alert: work towards becoming a licensed engineer (not sure what it is called in Europe, it is PE here in the States). It looks great to future employers on your resume.
