As for you guys, I'll give you some more info about the track itself! A lot of this new EP is me experimenting with new drum machine techniques, and different rhythms. If you remember back to my last record, Now That I Have You, the drums on that record tended to be very stiff and on the grid in my opinion. Take a track like "Mono" as a prime example of that. You can hopefully hear the differences to my approach pretty clearly on this track, with the swinging hihats and kick drum hits. I aimed for a much groovier sound in general. I hope it comes through!

I should also mention my intent with this new project for those curious! My aim for this EP is not to be a follow up to Now That I Have You, but rather to provide some fun and groovy tracks in the meanwhile, while I cook up my ambitious next project. Right now, I'm focusing more on my IRL live performances over anything, so while I temporarily shift my focus, I thought it'd be a good idea to give people a little something for the rest of the year. Really excited to be performing live!
