As another month passes by I want to take a moment to sincerely thank you guys for sticking with me! I had a whole script written to express just how much you guys mean for me, but I decided to save it for tomorrow so everyone could see it, and not just you guys! Expect a cheesy love letter soon, ha ha.
For now, I'll share a few details about this track! This is the last song I'll be sharing from my new EP, and it's maybe the most different sounding out of all of them. As mentioned in the MP3 post, I've been listening to some obscure house records that my friend Pop Up! turned me on (Kiko - Midnight Magic to be exact). I actually meant to share the track I sampled for this one, but it seems to be so obscure it's not even on YouTube... Maybe I'll upload it myself?
The kick pattern on this track is also pretty different. I actually took heavy inspiration from one of my favorite duos of all time, Le Knight Club (featuring one half of Daft Punk, for those of you who might now be aware)! In particular, you can check out the track "Gator" for the specific reference!
