I've recently been making music without a real goal in mind artistically, rather just making whatever I feel like making. For all I know, these tracks could remain in the Patreon vault forever, just because I don't feel like it's really "marketable" to a Future Funk audience I guess? It's actually pretty fun doing music this way, and pretty rewarding too! I like being able to just air my feelings out through my music without worrying about Spotify or a new record or anything!
When I do put out a new record, I want it to be a long, ambitious, varied project. Right now, if I compare myself to an author or something, this is me drafting out various ideas for the main story of a book. Eventually, when I get to actually writing a cohesive story, I'll take some of the drafts I've written out and incorporate that into my future novel. In other words, I might reincorporate these tracks in a more polished form on a future project. Hope that makes sense!
Anyway, hope you guys enjoy these experiments, as I have fun making them and not being held back by boundaries! Hope you're all doing well, and take care everyone! - m
