Amir's Third Outfit!
Added 2022-04-16 22:54:48 +0000 UTCAmir being the fashionista he is definitely needed more looks than Mori did so Atlas and I put a lot of thought into what a good third look for amir would look like.
My friend @tabbybells on Tumblr/Twitter was an early, early Amir stan and in the days of his development, drew this pic of him with their OC Bink
(This was from before the TCM setting was established so amir's hovering somewhere between fantasy costume and avant gard lingerie)
BUT! I knew immediately that it was just a signature look for him. Still luxurious and fashionable, just more comfortable than his more formal looks and excruciatingly appropriate for boudoir antics.
So when I compiled notes to give to Altas it was a lot of flowy, two pieces robes/dresses with a lot of sparkly embellishment and sheer textures (sheer is absolutely one of Amir's characteristic looks)
These were two main irl inspirations we had into designing his outfit, the one one the left (Elie Saab) especially had the right drape and flow for amir.
These were the preliminary sketches Atlas came up with and damn they really hit the nail on the head. The fabric drape being so loose really adds an element of effortless luxury and of course that fits Amir perfectly.
