You can see Atlas' progress through the next few process shots- their process is really cool to watch as the finished image evolves and like we looked at last time, that perspective shift really makes the space feel alive and dynamic.

We wanted to show Akello's personality in his space as much as we could. You can see we were trying to lay out books and college style bags in addition to all the plants he has. We also discussed him having really eclectic furniture taste, mostly because he thrifts a lot.

Atlas was really meticulous about having many kinds of plants present which also adds to the vibes and kind of deepens the textures of the area.

Color is a always a challenge for me and with most of Akello's aesthetic I went with lots of earthy neutrals punctuated by vibrant greens and yellows. With his cg we wanted to lean into neutrals that still felt rich and alive instead of bland. The variety of really lovely browns makes a great backdrop for multiple greens and yellows and Atlas did a fantastic job making this scene feel warm and clean and inviting.

The warm lighting really pulls everything together I think. Also, special funfact, the lily painting was done by my pal Basil and it was included at the last minute.
