Rimuru is very much the “fear the wrath of a kind man” FAFO type

Richard Diaz

Heck yeah!! Glad to have you here! This episode blew us away. We've never seen Rimuru take such vengeance and it was awesome to behold!

Sorry for the late watch guys, I spent yesterday watching my niece at the Ole Miss football game, she's a Rebelette! Wild week with all the traveling. 😅 ANYHOO... Ah yes, my prediction was correct: 2 jaws successfully dropped! No need to worry about it being painless for them because it definitely isn't. And considering what's coming up in the next episode and in the next half of the season... yeah, painless isn't the word I would use. I'd lean more towards merciless. Rimuru is officially done taking shit from anyone who isn't one of his friends. So happy you guys are loving this season so far, it only climbs from here. Your reactions were fantastic and you're definitely asking a lot of questions the author wants you to ask. Thanks for bringing the fun guys! 🩷💛🩵

FIRST time you seem em go out, it’s insane to remember other character’s crash out moments Shuna and Shion haven’t had their moments, can’t wait to see yall react to shuna saying “I’m really mad right now”

Kenny Costa

I think it’s hilarious that Razen is so confident, paints every part of the picture that is his demise

Benimaru solod his side in case the others needed help, showing some leadership qualities without and aid. Souei and his team were faster than Benimaru but only because of numbers, souei could have finished earlier alone but basically used it as training for his units Gabiru and his squad could have been helped by both but they trust him enough to be worried about the otherworlders instead of him, and his aerial unit was untouched in their attack Hakuro demolished the slant eyed mf faster than he could perceive and his conscience was probably there still when his head landed by berserker dude, they allude to that in the light novel but it’s unclear Berserker dude legit had no way to fight rot but remembered the manipulative bitch had healing as a skill and knew he gained skills based on who he killed and got an upgraded form of hers- it wasn’t enough to fight Geld. Geld stopped holding back when instigated, even going hand to hand like dude asked earlier but was dealing so much damage that his upgraded healing factor wasn’t keeping up and he was literally about to die if Razen didn’t show up- Razen has been the court wizard for many kings and thinks he knows all, but he’s never fought Rimuru Hakuro said it best with “You people have gone too far. You angered the one person whose rage you should fear most. You have my sympathy”

Kenny Costa

Yea you’re 100% on point, that first week Rimuru was wandering the cave and eating plants and magic ore was when the great sage skill learned how to access the voice of the world language and used the voice to talk to Rimuru, kind of forcing its own progression to aid the tiny slime we know and love. Great sage isn’t supposed to have audio contact but be more of an extra sense that most others don’t have

New subscriber, I’ve been WAITING for this episode I just needed this episode after the last YouTube drop! Promised a while back you’d have my subscription, here to say I’ve followed through and am looking forward to another amazing reaction 🤙🏼

This was the craziest part when I read the novels, Rimuru literally maimed a significant amount of the people instead of killing them to spread fear and anguish throughout the army just to assert dominance

Kenny Costa

I would like to mention, meggido is NOT a humane way of killing them, it is anything but humane. The lasers are targeting vital points in their bodies to cause the most pain, as well as some of the lasers are chopping off limbs instead of going directly for the kill. This just wasn't portrayed in the anime.

Hakurou isn't the most magically powerful of all the kijin; he mainly uses what are called Arts in Slimeverse, which is the skillful control of one's aura. As such, anyone is theoretically able to learn it. There are vaious Arts; I think most of the Kijin can use something called Battlewill, but Hakurou is the master. That, along with years of training in a particular school of Sword fighting, and years of experience, gave him superiority in his battle with Kyoya.

The only addition I would make is that, Megiddo is a spell based on spirit summoning. Rimuru summoned water spirits to produce the water lenses that focus and refract the light. But after that, it was physics. ...... I usually think of Great Sage as independent of Words of the World. While WotW grants Skills based on rules, the Skills don't normally interact with it, unless there is a change. My understanding is that Great Sage used the voice of WotW as a template for its own voice. Great Sage, as a Skill, is unusual in that it does speak to Rimuru.

Dang!! So there's way more badass stuff to come, I can't wait! We are blasting through

The Heck Podcast

Yes! Cant wait for the next two episodes!

Rimuru is just in the warm up stage, he's building for an ultimate move, and a king of Falmuth is finding out that if you play around with Rimuru you get fecked up fast. It gets better in the next episode in my opinion.

Kyoya, the guy who had the All-Seeing Eye Skill, was so proud of that Skill, when most people who have mind acceleration skills that I have seen have a minimum of 1000x acceleration. The three Otherworlders thought they were stronger than everyone else, because their experience was with humans. Shogo had noticed that he got stronger when he accidentally killed someone while training, so he figured that Kirara's soul would help him. He didn't get her Skill, he got a new Skill because of his desires and the strength of her soul..

myst0dreamer

Meggido is a magic spell that uses Magic and Physics. It creates lenses with water magic to concentrate the sun light into concentrated light beams and uses the water droplets to direct those beams.

So, fun fact : the guy that was decapitated (can't be bothered to remember his name) was using a skill that let him see everything 300 times faster. So, for him, 1 second lasted the equivalent of 5 minutes. According to Wikipedia, the brain loses consciousness after about 3 seconds, due to lack of oxygen, then dies within 6 minutes. This means that he took 15 minutes to fall unconscious, with the realization that his head was severed, and then 30 hours (108,000 seconds, or 1800 minutes) before his brain died, during which he may not have been full conscious, but was most likely aware of what had happened to him. The light novel apparently goes to great length to explain how brutal Rimuru and his people's vengeance were towards the army of Falmuth, things that, sadly, could not be translated into the anime because of budget and time. One such example, is that Rimuru actually took the time to kill off the soldiers limb by limb, torturing them to discourage any other soldier from fighting back and killing them slowly and painfully. Megiddo is, strictly speaking, not an actual skill. It's an attack that uses Rimuru's knowledge of physics (a concept that has not advanced very far in that world) and Great Sage's power of calculation to concentrate sunlight through water into powerful lasers. Those lasers are then fired through water droplets, which makes them more powerful and allow Rimuru to change their direction. He actually took some time to start his attack while the others were taking care of the barrier precisely so that Great Sage could calculate the position of every droplet and the direction of every laser. EDIT : The other guy mentions "Words of the World". It's a sort of "system" that oversees the skills in the world, offering them to people who need them or who do something to get them (like sacrificing a soul). It also ensures that a sort of hierarchy is followed regarding those skills, as there's a class of powerful skills that we'll learn of soon that can only be acquired by one person at a time (so no other person in the world can have the same skill). Words of the World has interacted with Rimuru numerous times through Great Sage, it's actually its voice that we can hear whenever Rimuru's skill talks to him, as Great Sage could be considered a sort of "user account" in that "system" (I don't know if there's any deeper meaning to those terms, but they're the best comparisons I have). While Great Sage has a limited access, it can still provide a lot of support to Rimuru. So he's essentially helped at all times by the emulation of a deity.
