I’ve always maintained that this is probably one of KJo’s best made films, technically, but what irritates me about the film is the ending. These two terrible people stepped out of their marriages and then got a happy ending. They didn’t deserve it. They should have wound up alone and that should have been the end. This glamorization of infidelity was unnecessary. And that really only happened in the last 15 minutes. Otherwise, I thought it was a good movie. But yes, again, I agree - This is not a movie I like to revisit often. It definitely is not a feel good movie. 😝

Preity's character Rhea tells him she fell in love with the old Dev and wants him back, which probably means he wasn't always awful. His accident had changed him and made him a very angry person.

Now that you watched, you wanted SRK and Kajol? 😂 Technically, SRK and Rani did get together in KKHH- and then she died lol. But still she was Rahul's 1st choice. Kajol was 2nd. Also, yes Kirron Kher is Anupam Kher's wife. You've seen her in several movies including Devdas, Main Hoon Na, Om Shanti Om. And yes, Big B and Jaya has another kid. A daughter, Shweta. Her son Agastya Nanda played Archie.

Whereas the audience in India probably had a more difficult time getting past it and more so that it was Shahrukh Khan lol. And they didn't like that the characters ended up together. KKHH and K3G were blockbusters in india and internationally, but i believe KANK was average in India and a blockbuster overseas. Maybe international audiences were more open to the infidelity?

It’s also probably one of the reasons it didn’t do well… audiences didn’t wanna see him in this kind of a role, and would much rather him be the lovable romantic guy.

Not a fan of sexy Sam but I loved the scenes between the married couples.. he managed to capture the ego clashes, the uncomfortable silences and the heartbreak beautifully.

This is one of the few SRK movies which I never revisited And from what I remember to what I saw now, bits of the movie could have been done better, but parts of it were way good than I remember This movie got a few complicated emotions and grey characters really good, but parts of the movie wasn't well written. Overall, I think I have a better opinion of the movie than I had before.
