2024-12-13 23:37:57 +0000 UTCFor people asking to react to the original Malayalam version “Ramji Rao Speaking”- while The movie is so good and works really well for malayalees, I think it doesn’t have a good print (it’s from 1989 - much older than Herapheri). Also subtitles won’t be that good, I feel. Many comedic elements in the Malayalam version is in dialogues, slangs and accents especially for the iconic roles of Innocent (who did Paresh rawals role) and mamukkoya. Although same can be said about hera pheri also. Paresh Rawal’s slang contributes a lot to the fun element.

Inspite of being a Gujarati, he played a Marathi drunkard oldie pretty well that still evokes laughs and has an endearing quality to it.. These are examples of actors that take the character beyond the script

She's also an actress, producer who I think doesn't act anymore but she's well known by many for playing Aishwarya's sister in Bride & Prejudice. Also she was Ms. India in 93 and Mahesh Babu's wife. 2024-12-08 19:25:29 +0000 UTCYou guys should watch the sequel. Although it’s a remake of Guy Ritchie’s “Lock, Stock and 2 Smoking Barrels”, it still is one of the best comedies produced in Bollywood. I found that more entertaining than the first one.
