I am waiting for the day when Savitribai Phule gets her own film.. her own story.. Jyotirao Phule was revolutionary yes.. but their stories need to be separated.. As the “Mother of Indian Feminism” Indian not Postcolonial.. feminism she cannot be allowed to exist in her husband’s shadow 🤓
