Final episode of Nise is soooo good.
Ties as my favorite of this season with ep 4 and the bath scene.

This episode acts as more of a build up for the next two, so theres not much to say here. But did you notice that quite a bit of the music in the episode used melodies from the op's?

I also drew *yet to be introduced character* as a gym leader! Next two are in my opinion, the best of Nise so I'm pretty hyped for that as well

The name of the arcs don't really have to mean that that's the person that gets developed/focused on. There are multiple arcs later on where this also becomes apparent again. In the Monogatari series characters are thankfully not imprisoned in their arcs and can also continue to change and degress/progress outside of those arcs as you've noticed already. If that wouldn't be the case the series would seem very unnatural and stiff.

And the double trouble finally makes an appearance!!
This episode was more for setting the ground work for the other ones so there's not much to say about it, but I'm gonna comment on Karen's height: she was always that tall. Araragi's height is a recurring joke in the novels as he isn't remarkably tall (less than 5 feet 5) and is, in fact, shorter than his little sister.
Also, man, I laughed so hard when you called Kagenui a Pokémon Gym leader, cuz I actually made a pixel art of her in Pokémon Gen 5 style some time ago, you can see it on this link xD https://www.reddit.com/r/araragi/comments/iuvp21/kagenui_yozuru_pixel_art_by_me/
Next 2 episodes are pretty good, so looking forward to that!
