Also this series is 13 episodes long so the typical 4-4-4 episodes doesn't quite work. I would heavily suggest putting 5 episodes into the next batch and leaving episode 10, 11, 12 and 13 into the final batch.

2021-09-21 14:25:02 +0000 UTCFinished the reaction~ Fun hearing you say "banger of a series" but I totally agree. This show looks great, it has an intriguing plot and a nice pacing. Vivy is quite interesting of a character despite being just a bunch of ones and zeroes. The show also has some deeper themes that you can think about and a mystery as to what will happen next or how their actions could affect the future. You said that you can't really think of any negatives so far and I definitely had the same line of thought at this point. I think my only minor nitpick was Matsumoto (cube robot) speaking too fast xD. This show also can hit emotional highs if it wants to. Momoka's death in the plane in episode 2 got me tearing up on first watchthrough and then I got chills both times Estella sang (in episode 3 when showing the space to passengers) and then at the end of episode 4 as well. Emotional highs, nicely moving plot with mystery and intrigue, stellar animation at times with very solid art. And oh my god some of the detailed still shots. Vivy when saving the TOAK guy being crused to death in episode 2, Estella singing in episode 3, Vivy saiying she is jealous at the end of episode 4. And probably few more scenes as well, whew. Here's to hoping the guy who commissioned this will do so for next month as well, can't wait to see more of your reactions!

2021-09-21 14:24:09 +0000 UTCWell this was a pleasant surprise; I'm so glad you're reacting to this underrated gem =D You might wanna re-watch the ending of episode 2; you didn't seem to realize this, but Matsumoto was the one controlling the construction robot at the end. He was deliberately preventing Vivy from stopping the plane crash, as it's forbidden to alter history in anyway that's unrelated to their mission. This was the main reason why she wasn't too keen to continue working with him on the Singularity Project.
