Time for us to finally see in detail the events that were teased to us back in Bake.
not much to talk about this episode specifically, but there's one scene that is weird to understand in the anime: when Araragi met Hanekawa on his way to school she had a straight face and he noticed the gauze, but as soon as she realized he was there she tried to brush it off and just greeted him very energetically like normal, expecting he wouldn't think the wound was a big deal; it didn't work and he continued on staring at her bandage; now that her plan of pretending nothing happened didn't work, she started to lose face and to feel flustered, but Araragi was quick on catching on to that and promptly flipped her skirt so her attention would be averted to other things and she wouldn't get sad. Hanekawa being Hanekawa and knowing Araragi's nature understood what he was trying to do, that's why she says he is very kind: for being a considerate friend that didn't wanna hurt her by asking about the thing she was trying to conceal. And he ignored it, until their conversation kind of deviated in that direction.

And now we've reached the last entry of the first season!
A bit shorter this time around, Neko Black is only 1 book while Bake and Nise were multiple books.
Something you might have missed was that this is listed as "Chapter Forbidden" in the title card.
Hitagi Crab through Karen Bee were titled Chapter 1-6 accordingly and Tsukihi Phoenix was called "Chapter Final". Glad your back to the series, have a good day!
